Jian Qi and Lu Yao swiftly left the area, they only slowed down after having run for quite a distance. 

"Our thoughts are quite in sync, Instructor Lu!" Jian Qi smirked. 

She did not tell Lu Yao beforehand. Hence, she was just putting it in the hands of fate and hoping that he would realize that something was not right and back her up.

Clearly, Lu Yao had not disappointed her. 

"Didn't I tell you to run? Why did you go and do such a dangerous thing?" Lu Yao looked at her and said, "Also, where did you put our signalling devices? Why were they not able to find you?" 

"Well, there were no movements on their side, so I had to take matters into my own hands!" 

Jian Qi complained, "They were too slow!"
