Bab 34: CHAPTER 34
Adam's father was in his room dressing in office fit in the next morning, wanted to go and have another meeting with his client from Babylon before they went back to their country.
Adam too had woke up and he was in the bathroom taking his bath, dressed and started going to work. His Father had been introducing him to some of his partners in other countries like United state, London and China as his personal assistant.
Adam's stepmother was in the living room setting every where when Domina was in the kitchen cleaning it and also mopping the floor, her husband got down to the living room with the office case.
"Well done my wife, am going"
"Okay my husband!, go safety!"
"Take care of my twins for me very well, they must not cry "
"Okay Oh!, I will take care of them!" she smiled.
"And you too take care of yourself, bye!"
"bye! My love" sound of the door opened and closed, got to the compound and entered into the car. The diver had washed and cleaned the car as he had woke up in the morning, the gate man opened the gate and drove out.
She just finished arranging what she was doing, going to the kitchen when Adam came out and wore office fit.
"Am going now and good morning!" telling her good bye.
"Morning Adam! And go safety!"
"Where is daddy? He has gone!"
"Yes!, he had gone like few minutes now!"
"Okay! Bye!" he left the house and his stepmother went to the kitchen. Now he had been greeting her in the morning and something he used to do what she asked him to do without any fought but he just didn't used to talk to her or pay with the twins since when she had told him at the hospital not to touch her twins again.
She just said it that day to be able to get his attention but didn't knew that Adam was not like that once that she didn't like her before.
Adam just entered into his car and wanted to closed the door when he saw a small bag on the floor at the passenger side, he touched it and felt that it was a cooler that was inside it. He got down and Calling their gate man.
"Sanjo! Sanjo!!" he ran to him and even he had opened the gate.
"Yes Sir!, am here and I hope no problem because I have open the gate!"
"Who put the bag at the passenger side there?"
"It's Domina!, I saw her came down here with the bag and opened your car. Don't know that she put it inside it"
"Go and call her for me now!" looking at the bag through the glass.
"Okay!" Sanjo said and going to the backyard.
"Be fast and walk fast, don't let me late for work!" shouted for him to heard.
Sanjo and Domina got there after few seconds, met Adam standing beside the car and opened the door of the passenger side widely.
"Sir! Am here, you sent for me!"
"He said that you are the one that put this bag in my car, why did you put it there?"
"It's not just a bag Sir!, it's food!" said with respect.
"Be food or just a bag, my question is that why did you put it here?"
"It's Mummy that ordered me to put it there!" She replied.
"Mummy!, who is your Mummy?" Asked with anger, he had been getting late.
"I mean the twins mother is the one that ordered me to do so!"
"Please! Take it back to the kitchen or anywhere!"
"Yes Sir!" she took the bag and Adam closed the door, going to the driver aide
"Put food inside my car, which time does that one start!" Entered into the car and drove out.
Adam's stepmother was in the kitchen serving her food when Domina entered from the back door with the bag in her hand. Adam's stepmother looked at the bag and looked at her.
"Why did you go and take it back!"
"No! Ma, he is the one that ordered me to take it back, ordered Sanjo to come and called me"
"He rejected the food!" said and left the kitchen with her food, Domina put the bag down on the table and continued with the work she left behind.
It was 3:00 pm, Adam's father's car drove inside the compound and gate man wanted to close the gate when Adam's car too drove inside. Two of them packed at the garage and got down from the car including the driver, exchanged greetings and going inside.
"Welcome Sir!" Sanjo greeted Adam's father.
"Sanjo! How are you doing?" asked with smile on his face.
"Am not good at all Sir!, it's Madam!" Two of them looked at him.
"Since morning that two of you had left the house, she is just crying and we have asked her severely but she didn't said a word. Even it was in the living room that I am when I heard your horn!"
"Where is she now? Still in the living room?" Adam asked.
"Yes! That is where she is since morning and crying!"
"Crying not as if someone die for her!" Adam said and running inside.
Two of them entered, met Domina sitting on the chair facing her and still crying that her eye had red and swollen up.
"Welcome Sir and Welcome brother Adam!" Domina greeted.
"What happened? Why are you crying like this?" Her husband asked.
"What happened now?, it's when we are coming in now that Sanjo told us that you have been crying since morning. What is it? Did you received a call?" She didn't replied just crying.
"Tell us what happened now?, crying like the twins!" Adam said.
"Talk to us?" Her husband sat down beside her.
"Let me check on the twins first!" Adam left and went to the room.
"We have been asking her since you have left but she doesn't said anything!" Domina said.
"The twins are fine!, look at them smiling at each others" carried them out to show his father.
"Then what happened? Did anything happened to your parents?" Asked with anger.
"It's Adam that caused my crying!" Said with lower voice.
"What!, why is that it's me that caused your crying!" Looking at her like she was sick.
"My husband! I packed food for him and he returned it back!"
"Eh! Eh!! Daddy! Daddy!!, you heard that. Your wife want to poison me and because I don't eat it that she had know that I won't die that is why she is crying. Eh! Eh!! Thank God!" Adam shouting.
"No! No!! No oh!!"
"Shut up! What is No, she want to kill me!" Adam continued shouting and Domina was looking at him.
"I can't kill you never!, I can't, even why will I!"
"You don't want to kill him then why did you packed food for him, Adam had stopped eating your food now it has been going to a year so why did you suddenly packed food for him. You want to kill him right!" Said with anger and even since he had married to her, she didn't saw him talking her like that before.
"No! No!!, you can tell her to go and bring the food still there on the table and inside the bag!"
"Domina! Go and bring it!" Adam said
"Yes Sir!" She said and going to the kitchen.
"Look here! Adam is my pride and he is my everything in this life, if anything happen to him fifteen years to this time it's you I will hold responsible for it not say that you are my wife!"
"I swear, I don't have bad thing in mind—" Domina got there.
"That is my final say! Because why you are crying I don't get it at all!"
"Me too!, crying as if someone die!" Adam said.
"I don't have bad thing in mind but I heard all what you said to your girlfriend because of me!"
"What are you talking about?" Her husband asked
"Yesterday!, it was Adam that sent Sarana home because I told him that she didn't greeted me. Said Hi to me not that she received any call!"
"Yes! Daddy, I see it like it's a great embarrassed for my girlfriend to be greeting her Hi"
"So! All what you said touched my heart and I see that it's a great respect you give me because I can never believed you can do such or reacted like that to your girlfriend because of me. Please! Stop cooking for yourself, let be peace in this house. Take the twins as your sisters and see me too as your sister, please! I beg of you Adam. It's a great honor you give me if you don't know!"
"It's Okay!, Adam had heard you! Don't cry again! "
"Brother Adam! Please listen to Madam, forgive her if she had done something for you in the past, please! Cooking for yourself is not the best!"
"It's not that you offered me but what make me to just be behaving like that is because it's a well great woman that I want father to marry so when you no told him that you get pregnant and with the kind of work you doing in the past, I don't want father to marry you but he didn't that is why am behaving like that to you. I have later see that you married my father today is a destiny. So am sorry too!"
"Thank you very much!, I will be always be good person to you, I promise!"
"You are always good and a nice person, I can see with the way I behaved to you and you won't complained or abused me, am sorry for everything I have done for you once again!"
"You are welcome!" said with smile and Adam too smiled back.
"This is what I want!" Adam's father stood and beat Adam in his shoulder.
"There won't be fight again in this house, now lovely family!"
"Yes! Sir, it good like this!" Domina said.
"My wife! Crying like baby, set my table. Am coming" all of them laughed and Adam followed his father, Adam just took a step when he faced back
"Domina! Help me to put a pot on the fire, am coming now to cook!" His father faced back and all of them looked at Adam and Adam laughed louder.
"Just kidding!, Stepmom set the table we are coming out now!" All of them laughed, two of them went to their rooms to change and his stepmother and Domina went to the kitchen.
