"Why didn't you want to see me then?" Mu Xichen narrowed his eyes in disbelief and tightened his grip on her.

Li Beinian pouted. "It hurts."

"What about this?"

Li Beinian's breathing became heavier. "You're such a wolf."

"I can be one, if you like." Mu Xichen smiled lightly and pressed his lips against her face. He whispered, "I'll take you out for dinner first. Shall we go home in the afternoon?"

Li Beinian was a little troubled by his suggestion. "They invited me to go out with them."

Mu Xichen's face darkened. "They… meaning who?"
