I Woke up early because I had to go to school early.I haven't even reached yet to the dining area when I heard a serious conversation. Although I knew it wasn't good to listen, but out of curiosity I slowly put my ear to the wall so that I could hear anyone talking at this early hour in the morning.
" Mom he dumped me.After everything I did to him, is this all he'll gonna pay me back? It hurts to see him with someone else and it's more painful to know that he replaced me with his new loveteam.Everyday I see them on the set whispering sweet nothings. " Shane told mommy while sobbing.
" Shh.hush now sweetie.Yes, it's not your lost, that's his because he dumped the best actress of the year for a beginner. " mommy said to comfort my sister.
" That's right mom, but why would he even replaced me to a newbie if I had everything? What's wrong with me mom? Why do those guys always leave me when all I did is to love them? " my sister continued to cry.
" Sweetie, there's nothing wrong with you. They're the ones who didn't see your worth. Maybe the right guy isn't here yet, just wait and maybe God isn't ready yet to give you your forever. You're still young and you should be enjoying your teenage years. Love can wait, just focus on your studies and your profession as an actress. Maybe when you turned eighteen, you can find that guy who is really destined for you. " mom seriously said.
" Okay mom, I'll follow your advice. Maybe this is not the right time for me to fall in love. I've cried for a couple of times already because of love. I'm just seventeen so maybe I should enjoy my teenager years first.Thanks mom for listening. I love you mom. "I heard her said and ended the conversation with mom.
I heaved a heavy sigh. My fear of falling in love with a guy from showbusiness was even more intense now after I heard them talked.
So, Shane's brokenhearted again.
If I'm not mistaken, this is the second time, the first one is that when she was fifteen, he's also a guy from showbiz.She was crying too much and she came to the point where she didn't want to continue her studies.

I will never ever fall in love to a guy from showbusiness.

I went into the kitchen as I make sure they were done talking.
My sister secretly wipe her tears when she saw me.
" Good morning mom and sister Shane. "
I smiled at them.
Good morning too baby. " they greet me at the same time.
" Why are you awake early? " mommy asked.
" Venice and I are going to research in the library for our report, and then Gelo and I will meet at the school gate for my drawing project that he made, and he'll wait for me there before 7am. " I answered.
"I see. Alright kid eat you breakfast so you won't be late in meeting Gelo at the school gate. Eat a lot of food so you won't be dizzy in school. I will ask your brother to take you to school." said mom and excused herself.
I just nodded.I look at sister Shane.
"Are you okay ? You look like mess." I asked my sister.
" I'm fine baby sis, I'm just lacked of sleep because of my taping. " She replied. Yes, she's not okay , I know. She's hurting and I'm mad at the guy who hurt her so much.
My brother Andrew and I arrived early in our school.I saw few students who are already inside the campus. Andrew was the one who took me in and Mang Simon will be the one to fetch me in the afternoon.
I kissed my brother on the cheek and got off his car. After my brother left, I just waited for Gelo at the school gate.
I waited for him and in less than five minutes I noticed his car coming.
When his car stopped in front of me, Gelo got off and instructed his driver to drove off, maybe he will just walk his way to his school because it was just across the street.
" Morning baby! " he greeted me with a huge smile. I just hug him tightly in response, I am still sad for my sister.
" Hey, I know you when you're like that.What's the problem? "he asked as he pulled my back. It feels so comforting. Gelo is really a breath of fresh air.
" It's about sister Shane. "I replied. He loosen his hug on me and looked me in the eye.
He heaved a sigh .. "Okay let's talk later then, it looks serious.Here is your project, go, our class is about to start. Stop worrying , okay? I'm here. "
I just nodded. He squeezed my nose and that made me smile. He turned his back on me and walk his way to his school when I called him.
"Thank you .. Take care !" He just smiled and waved. Oh my! He's so cute. Just a smile from him can make your day complete. Like a ray of sunshine after the rainy day.
Everything went well in school. Even though I still think of Shane, I was able to participate in the class. I also got a high grade on my project done by Gelo, so maybe I should cooked some delicious snacks for him later when we get home. Fortunately he didn't have a movie project yet otherwise I have no one to draw for me on my projects.
When I left school, Gelo was already at the school gate with Mang Simon.
He just said that his driver would pick him up later in our house.
When we arrived in our house, Shane is not there. Our nanny said that she left our house earlier to dubbed for her latest movie. So I went upstairs to change clothes in my room.
Gelo followed because he was going to change his shirt too. He had clothes in my closet hanging, just in case he is lazy to go home.
I handed him his shirt and shorts while I went to the bathroom to take a shower and change clothes.
When I got out from the bathroom Gelo's already sitting comfortably on my
bed.
I sat beside him and leaned my head on his shoulder.
He grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. He's like that when he knew I am sad.
" What are we going to talk about baby? " he asked immediately.
" That's it, I'm so sad for sister Shane. Do you know that she and Gerald broke up?" I asked.
" What ?! Since when? " he asked.
" I don't know, maybe just yesterday.So this morning, I was about to go to the kitchen when I overheard my mom and Shane talking. I didn't mean to pry on their conversation. She was really crying endlessly. And then when I asked her, she said that she just had a taping, that's why she looked horrible. I didn't say that I over heard them. "
" That Gerald is so crazy! Just the other day we were talking with Shane, he said he'll be her escort on her debut next month and now they already broke up. If ever I saw that bastard again, I will punch him right on the face! " he said angrily. His face is so red and his fists are tightly clenched.

" That's nice baby. I think, we should start as soon as possible. " he said then I agreed.
" You know Gelo, there are so much reasons why I don't like showbusiness. The publicity, the gossip, heartbreak and all that. If I were to love, I don't like someone who belongs to that field. They are all the same. It is so common that there is no stable relationships because it is easily broken even before it started because of the intrigues. Temptations are all over. So Gelo, put this in your mind. I will never ever fall in love with a man from showbusiness. Set it on the rock! "
He looked at me intently. The amusement was flashing in his eyes. I've never seen him looking at me like this before.

THE DAYS passed quickly. Gelo and I noticed that my sister Shane was doing well.
We would often include her in our walks for whatever purpose she had, for no matter what she does.
Shane's debut came. Gelo is one of his 18 roses.Gelo is so handsome in his attire, he is like a fine a young man.He is tall and beautifully built. He is wearing a 3 piece suit that really suits him.He is so handsome. My heart pounding hard again when I saw him.
Oh my! Why my heart suddenly beats crazily again?
What we didn't expect was Gerald Coronel's appearance in the middle of the party. He announced that he was the last of the 18 roses. That should have been Shane's new loveteam and would have danced with her. My family just let it go so as not to disturb the party.
