"I don't know what they were doing and I want to keep it that way. I already know too much about them," he groaned. "I think he is taking revenge for all the times we displayed affection publicly."

Well, it was his own fault, Katherine thought. "I told you not to call."

"Yes, I will listen to you from now on." He looked defeated. 

"Don't be scarred by so little. I am sure they will do worse," she told him lightly. Knowing Angelina, she had no boundaries to speak of and rarely cared about her image. With Stephen on her side, she would just get worse. 

Cage scrunched up his face. "Oh god."

"My poor Cage. It's okay, I'll make you feel better." She stroked his forehead gently as he stared at her. Sure enough, he broke into laughter and shook his head.
