"There's no debate. Cosmic D Starfeyrves Spirit Body is the far wiser choice." Asfrid declared with conviction. "The Grade 10 Energy attribute is present as well, though I'm uncertain of its efficacy. However, it's the ability to rapidly recover from any spiritual injury that makes this skill invaluable. No matter how powerful our physical bodies, if they're destroyed, our spirits still have a chance to survive. Freed from the mortal coil, a strong spirit is no longer bound by physics and can flee with astounding speed. In some respects, its survival rate even increases.
It would have been far too convenient if a mere faction skill could provide the equivalent of a Grade 10 Energy Core to every faction member without any downsides.
For those who remember, Grade 10 doesn't refer only to the production of Aether, but also to its quality (the Grade) as well. It takes 100 times more Aether to produce 1 Aether point of a higher Grade. Between Grade 1 and 10, to produce 1 Grade 10 Red Aether point, you can deduce that it requires no less than 10^18 Aether points. The Aether from an Aether Core, being pure energy, is white and already costs 100 times more points by default.
So, we are looking at 10^20, which already represents 100 Quintillion Aether points. Just as a reminder, the Aether produced and accessible from an Aether Core is merely the Aether in its accretion disk waiting to be drawn in. The Aether within the Aether Core itself is extremely difficult to access.
Much like a black hole, the amount of Aether contained in the Aether Core is vastly greater than that in the accretion disk. In other words, the 300 trillion Aether points Jake manages to obtain every second are absolutely insignificant compared to the amount of Aether required to create such an Aether Core. It would have taken the giant sun of Quanoth, who knows how many times larger than our sun, to produce it. One Septillion is merely an estimate, but it's evident that even I am not capable of making such a calculation, and it should logically be much more.
1 Septillion is actually a good deal.
