"Sweetheart, how can I have a romantic dinner with you looking like a vagabond? I have standards for how I present myself when I'm with you, I want to be your Prince Charming." Malcolm sees the slightest blush adorning Elizabeth's face, ah she's so cute when she's flustered. "Mr.Drake, stop it your making me feel shy. I'm not a Princess, I feel like a frog sometimes when I'm with you. You're too handsome!" Malcolm couldn't help himself and he chuckled, "darling, if you are a frog, you're the most beautiful frog I have ever had the privilege to get to know." This girl really is adorable, snickered thinking of the movie the Princess and the frog but genderbender version with him as the prince and her as a little cute frog. He started to laugh and Elizabeth looked at her funny, "Malcolm why do I feel like you're imagining me as a frog and you as a prince right now?" She giggled at his guilty facial expression and started to giggle herself.
"I'm sorry I couldn't help myself, will you forgive me? Malcolm made a pitiful expression and Elizabeth laughed and pinched his cheek, "I'll forgive you this time but next time i'll make you suffer." Elizabeth acted like a haughty woman and looked at him coldly but couldn't keep herself from grinning. The staff quietly looked on as the young couple acted lovey-dovey infront of them. They're so cute that many of the single people were so jealous that they wanted to curse at the cuteness.
The waiters brought in the dinner course slowly and the anticipation started to buildup. Malcolm started to feel a little nervous so he tried to smile and joke about things to settle his nerves a bit but it wasn't working. His stomach started to feel funny and he stopped slowly stopped eating. Elizabeth was feeling nervous herself, she could feel the ambiance slowly changing throughout dinner and she was wondering why Malcolm was acting so strangely tonight. Malcolm signaled the waiters to clear the table and bring the dessert to them, he light coughed and Elizabeth inquisitively watched as Malcolm got up and sat on the sit by her.
"Are you feeling well Malcolm, you seem out of sorts? Elizabeth worriedly looked at him. Malcolm reached for Elizabeth hands his own hands were slightly trembling. "Elizabeth, I have something to tell you, can you please listen to me and give me your answer?" She smiles fondly and nods, I wonder what's going on in his gorgeous brain, why is he like this today. Malcolm sighs it's now or never, I can do this! "Elizabeth, we met coincidentally in a day that I was needed to get my mind straight because of my family's selfishness and my anger at them. You are a breath of fresh air and your joyful and loving spirit is like a calming balm to my soul. I have come to respect you, care for you and after getting to know you I have deeply fallen in love with you. Would you do me the honor of officially becoming my girlfriend and future wife? I promise to cherish you for the rest of our lives." Malcolm lovingly gazes at Elizabeth as she turned shy and then saw her eyes slowly turned watery and shining like a million stars. Elizabeth stared and saw clearly the love that his soul was brightly shimmering thru his eyes for her. Suddenly a beautiful smile bloomed in her face and with her hand trembling she gently cupped Malcolm's face and leaned into his face and gave him a slight kiss on his lips. Malcolm's body freezes at the contact of her warm sweet plump lips and he feels her breath as she answers him. "Yes..my dear heart, my answer is yes to infinity, I love you Mr.Drake."
Malcolm immediately kisses her and takes out a beautiful ring from his tuxedo pocket and slips it into her slim finger. it was a beautiful ring, studded with diamonds and her birthstone a magnificent sapphire cut into the shape of a heart. Elizabeth instantly fell in love with it and started admiring it. She couldn't help herself and started to show the staff the ring, Nellie had been about to walk into the room when Malcolm was confessing his feelings to Elizabeth and she was so emotional she was quietly crying, this two are fated to be together she thought, remembering how excited he was when he was planning everything for this day, she was happy to see that he got his most important wish. She and the staff lit up some fireworks as they shouted out happy wishes and congratulatory comments. Malcolm embraced Elizabeth as she looked at the wonderful display of fireworks, the feeling of love and excitement shocking him speechless. He never thought that he could be as happy as he was at that moment. Elizabeth looked up at his face and leaned back into his chest feeling cherished by this man who held her lovingly in his arms.
