Bab 21: Chapter 21: It's You
Liu Zhiyan forgot how she got out of the Wei family villa. She thought that the winning ticket was in her hands, but she lost because of Xia Yuxi's words.
The greatest shame of a woman is that the man she loves is given up by her rival. And she was thankful that night.
Although I heard that this marriage was arranged by Wei's parents, even the woman named Xia Yuxi did not know about her existence until today. Liu Zhiyan considered herself an intellectual woman, but this defected feeling almost made her crazy.
She sat in her car, holding the steering wheel, and after a long time brfore calming down. In the end, she called Wei Zexuan.
Wei Zexuan was driving home at this time. He hesitated for a moment before inserting the Bluetooth into his ear, and then his phone connected Liu Zhiyan's phone.
"I found the house." Wei Zexuan exhaled a long breath and smiled at the corner of his mouth. "Is that so? Then you send me the address and owner phone number, and I will rent it for you tomorrow."
Liu Zhiyan paused for awhile and then said softly and tenderly, "If it is next to your house, would you agree?"
"My house?" Wei Zexuan frowned slightly, then suddenly remembered the rental information that he saw everytime he went out. He opened his mouth and didn't even know what to say.
"Yes, Xia Yuxi invited me to your house for tea just now. I just saw the rental information next door. In fact, I think it's good here. It's close to you and furthermore the environment is safe. It's just..."
Wei Zexuan suddenly stopped his car by the side of the road. He filtered out the topic about the house and asked, "What did you just say? Xia Yuxi invites you over to drink tea?"
"Mhmm." Liu Zhiyan stopped talking and just hummed quietly.
The silence on the phone left Wei Zexuan unable to think much. Why did Xia Yuxi look for Liu Zhiyan, is it to find a way to stop their divorce? Or did she say something vulgar to her?
He knew that Xia Yuxi didn't want to divorce after all. After many hard beggings, she only delayed it for several months, didn't she? So she turned her back to look for Liu Zhiyan?
At an instant of anger made Wei Zexuan felt pain in his chest. He asked in a somber voice, "What did she tell you?"
"Nothing." Liu Zhiyan's voice on the phone sounded very frustrated, but still mentioned, "Just only casual chat. She is now Mrs. Wei, and she pays attention to her identity when she speaks."
Wei Zexuan rubbed his temples and felt that his head was about to blow up. He shouldn't have given Xia Yuxi the opportunity to harass her as Mrs. Wei. Loosening the tie around his neck, Wei Zexuan laughed at the shameless woman.
"Ze Xuan, what are you laughing at? You don't want me to live next to you? Infact, I just casually asked, I can find another house."
"Just be it, you can move in tomorrow." Wei Zexuan said without hesitation.
On the phone, Liu Zhiyan covered the phone speaker. She looked up at the ceiling of her car and smiled faintly. After that, she speak as tenderly as ever, "Then I will go back and pack up first, you will help me move tomorrow."
Toot.. Toot... Wei Zexuan hung up the phone without answering her. Liu Zhiyan guessed that he should have rush home by now. As expected very well, Wei Zexuan speed into the urban area, it took less than 20 minutes for him to stand inside the villa's living room.
Xua Yuri panicked because there was no warning signs. When she looked up, she found that Wei Zexuan's eyes were slightly red.
"What are you doing? Have you had tea?" She asked bracingly.
"Yes.." He whispered. "What did you say to her?"
Xia Yuxi heard this, she seemed to understand that Liu Zhiyan's coming over was not just to pay her a visit but causing trouble. So this is what she really wanted! If she explained to Wei Zexuan, would he believe her?
So what if the truth is told. It is not important for him. What's important is that Wei Zexuan believes in that woman and not her. She stared down on the floor. "You have choose to believe her, do you need me to say anything?"
A muffled noise in the living room scared Sister Joe to quickly turn off the fire and ran out of the kitchen. She wanted to help Xia Yuxi from the floor, but was scolded by Wei Zexuan.
"Go! There's nothing for you here!" Sister Joe trembled and whispered. "Sir, what you did to your wife is wrong? Look, her elbow is bleeding."
"Go!" Xia Yuxi knew that Sister Joe was a kind person. She didn't want to let Sister Joe loose her job because of her. When she turned her head, she slowly shook her head toward the Sister Joe.
Sister Joe reluctantly but stomped her feet and went back to the kitchen.
Xia Yuxi then looked down at her elbow's bleed. When she was pushed, she scratched the rough edges of the marble table and made a long cut on her elbow. She blew her elbow, but didn't feel the pain, feeling half of her arm was numb.
She tried hard to stand up, but heard the man above her head say, "Xia Yuxi, I have given you a chance, but you did it to yourself."
"What did I do?" She was already powerless to resist, because today, it is that woman who come to the door to blackmail and threaten her. Why do you think of her? How can she spend these months quietly?
"Did you know what you did?" Wei Zexuan pressed into the woman's body hard. Then he lifted Xia Yuxi's collar, and his voice was not loud but shocked.
He said: "The woman who loves to hate is terrible. Xia Yuxi, you are a crazy dog now, do you know? You can bite my legs and stay in this home, but you should never try to provoke me. If you do this, it will only make me feel disgusted and chase you out. Try to hurting her again, this is the result you get. I will be watching."
'Dog?' Xia Yuxi burst into tears, and wiped it stubbornly with her wrist, but blood smeared on her face and followed by her smelling blood, her throat was also exhausted.
