Hearing JP's thoughts, I couldn't help but agree because yeah, I'm already against this shit in the first place, so, I'm kind of happy we were almost seeing eye to eye even though he still welcomed this mission with open arms. In addition, giving additional rewards to someone who did something extra—without added benefit to the actual congealing of their group—was creating more of a divide if this was the Mayor's way of putting them through a team-building activity.

While it was true that a little bit of competition wouldn't hurt, as JP mentioned, that sort of thing should be done in a safe space, not outside where actual life could be endangered.

It was just something where the reward wasn't as good for the risk involved, and if the Mayor planned to continue these types of random events, some adjustments should be made.
