Bab 162: Farewell

Ye Chen channeled his true qi into the Requiem Staff, and realized that it was instantly absorbed. 

Then, a faint aura flowed out of the Requiem Staff.

He swung the rod lightly, which produced a wave of compressed air that hit the wall and created a hole. 

"Not bad. I'll make do with this."

Ye Chen did not have a suitable weapon at the moment, so this would come in handy.

When Ma Wei Qi saw this scene, his face turned pale.

He had known Cui Zhen for many years and had seen Cui Zhen use the Requiem Staff many times, but it had never displayed the extent of power it just did. 

Furthermore, the Requiem Staff was something handed down through Cui Zhen's family from their ancestors, yet they had been outshined by someone using it for the first time. 

Ye Chen then left the hotel, leaving the rest to Ma Wei Qi. He was not worried that Ma Wei Qi would betray him.

That technique was far more terrifying than what people could imagine.
