Bab 250: The storm is over

"It's me!" Leo said, holding her still.

Hearing his voice, Clara stopped struggling. She panted hard and, "Leo?" She asked with uncertainty, because when she saw him, she thought it was a dream, but seems it's true.

It was hard for her to believe it because Callum told her that they are underground and that has made fear and hopelessness crept into her heart.

She just didn't want to give up. Even if Leo wouldn't come to her, she wanted to make sure she escaped and go to him.

"I told you it's not a dream. Baby, you are safe. Safe with me." Leo said, pulling back and stare into her teary eyes.

"It's really you." Clara said after seeing his face, yet the fear in her expression still remained.

Her hand reached up to both sides of his neck, while her eyes searched his own. "It was so scary. He even let me hit him, yet my blows are like air to his body. I felt so useless.
