"These notifications are beginning to become annoying." The Sacred Ghoul Emperor rubbed his temple at the constant announcements ringing in his head.
A week had passed, and the Soldiers were moving with extreme efficiency. Their brutal training regime was showing its fruits.
New regions far enough away from Alfheim, deep in the Moon Sword Clans territory, would be opened up every day and soldiers would enter at night hunting down villages for their village creation stones.
[Ghosts] would enter first and search for villages and any kind of patrol to determine the strength of the security within the region. Thankfully, Goblins had come lax in their security and the garrison was barely 10,000 strong in the regions encountered.
Once the cover of night crept around the horizon overtaking the breathtaking, death struck any village unlucky enough to be discovered by the scouts. Both Ghouls and Linthos worked in tandem to absolutely destroy any goblins found.
Within minutes, villages would be cleared and relocated. When the relocation was chosen, a bright light would consume the village before a single seal was left called a [Village creation stone]
500 ghouls and 500 linthos would be sent into each region and would further split into 10 teams of 50 ghouls and 50 linthos and were ordered to bring back a minimum of 3 village creation stone each.
When dawn approached, the ghouls had already left leaving barren spots of land with dead goblins enriching the earth for wildlife to feed upon.
Imagining the fear etched into the Goblins faces as they stumble onto the lifeless bodies of their brethren.
The blame they will place on their neighbouring Goblin clan.
The anger they will unleash on their fellow race members.
The false hope that will course through the veins of slaves everywhere brought a sick sense of pleasure to Zhong Yi.
However, that wasn't all. In fact, it was just one attack of many.
In a week, they repeated the process every night striking unsuspecting regions with no pattern. As a result, they managed to get over 230 village creation stones and made sure to leave shattered manacles of slaves in place.
By doing this, the Moon Sword Clan would suspect it was the work of the other goblin clans from how the "slaves" travelled so quickly and the equipment they used to kill goblins.
"Your majesty, we have placed all the 243 villages down as requested." Reported Minister Cheng.
"Send a warning to the Residential department about the sudden increase in work. If Lin Qiao needs it, have more people join the department to disperse some of the workloads around."
"Yes, your majesty," Minister Cheng bowed and left the room.
"Your majesty, the Ghosts reported an increase in goblin activity from the regions we raided and a slight increase in patrols at night for the ones we plan on hitting." Director Cheng of the Military Department spoke up.
Zhong Yi nodded from his seat in the comfortable furs in his royal chair. He felt like he could melt in how the chair seemed to hug him.
Natural light floated in from the bow window behind him lightening up the Royal study in the finally finished royal palace. However, the walls of the room were barren of any kind of decorations. When he was asked, he proudly replied. "My daughter hasn't painted anything for me to put up."
Since then, he had a feeling people thought his little princess had him wrapped around his finger, not that he cared
"..esty? Your majesty?" Cheng Jian jun's voice brought him back to his immediate surroundings.
"I'm joining the next raid," said Zhong Yi as he walked over to the bow windows overlooking the garden. Two small heads of white hair played catch through the beautiful trees.
A warm smile crept onto his handsome face. "Is the king grade beast still there?"
"Both of them are since the ghost passed through, Your majesty."
"Both?"
"A couple, your majesty." Replied the General.
"Good! After the raid, we will consolidate all we have and prepare for Prince Alucard's allied rally."

Zhong Yi couldn't remember the last time he looked at the stats page. It was easy to forget about it when there was so much happening next after next.
He realised that even though there was a mentioned limit of how many villages he could have. It actually meant how many settlements would have the Main town's status affecting it.
Which was why he had the gold and silver grade villages and towns as subordinates to the main one. He also put the blue ones under the gold and silvers.
Zhong Yi had been pondering about how to quickly increase the population. Conquering and relocating villages was one solution but in the long run, he couldn't see it keeping up with the rate the empire would be expanding.
The Sacred Ghoul Emperor released a heavy sigh.
He split from the main force as soon as he left hidden cave where they hid the teleportation portal. The Ghosts had found out the unmistakable presence of a king grade beast.
Once it was reported to him, he immediately knew he had to kill them because he would be closer to repairing the [Chaos] chest plate.
The king grade beasts were a pair of diamond apes. It's hard exterior made it hard for predators to penetrate its skin, and it could throw a punch just as hard.
Zhong Yi was hopping through the tall trees hidden under the moonlight. He heard movement coming from behind him and dropped down to the ground.
He stepped back into the shadow of the tree, waiting for the sources to move past.
The corner of his mouth curved into a smile as the things he was looking for revealed themselves.
Dropping to the ground was a monkey about 2 metres tall. Its body was covered in a blue crystalline skin that glittered from the moonlight. Its hunched body straightened as its large nose twitched from smelling the surroundings. It had elongated arms as long as its entire body.
The heavy rustle of trees above him signalled him about his bipedal targets friends, as more appeared hanging from trees. Zhong Yi could sense tens and even more were appearing not that it would be a problem to kill them.
'Where's the second one?'
Scanning the area for more presences, he walked out of the shadow into eyesight.
Hundreds of blue eyes snapped into his direction from the sudden intrusion.
"I'm going to need your life."
