Earthquake warning alarms rang throughout the city, buzzing as the citizens began to panic. With Shen being in the center slabs and pillars of asphalt and concrete rose and fell. "What the hell is happening!" Watching as massive cracks appeared and made their way through the entire city.
If these cracks came across a car or any type of vehicle they would slowly fall into the abyss and buildings on the other hand would crumble before toppling over. It was pure chaos and all Shen had to do to cause it was release loads of energy in the form of pulses. After only twenty minutes of doing this, the entire city was already fractured.
Of course, it also had its repercussions. 'This is really draining.' He could only thank his upgraded stats for the ability to do this in one fell swoop without the need of clones but it still drained him. 'Well, I only needed this place to be a little easier to move anyway.' Standing up straight before glancing around Shen felt he did a fairly good job.
"I haven't tried this before. I wonder if it will actually work on such big objects." Focusing his attention on a pile of rubble roughly the size of a mall, Shen used an ability that came along with Ki Control. Using his hand as a guide a crimson aura surrounded the pile of rubble as the sound of rocks grinding became louder.
With a gentle flick of his wrist, the entire pile rose into the air. Rising higher and higher, other than a few chunks, the pile stayed together as it rose over three hundred meters into the sky. Casting a shadow on the ground below, Shen looked up at it and felt that keeping it in the air was actually quite manageable and barely exhausted any energy.
"Well that was a little easier than I thought it would be but I guess I don't have max Ki Control for nothing." Extending his senses and his detection range, Shen quickly swept over the portion of the city around him. 'Around twenty no twenty-five thousand people are still alive in the area.' Doing a quick count in his head Shen nodded to himself.
"That should be enough. This is a lot more convenient than using the Rinnegan." Clutching his hand, in almost an instant it seemed every chunk, fragment, and pile of rubble in his view range was coated in a crimson light. If one were to look down at his chest they would see a strange orb was giving off a powerful glow. With the Hogyoku raising his stats from 10% to 20%, it continued to increase Shen's power and also his control. Finally, with one swift movement, like a bunch of rockets, everything began to fly into the sky.
Meanwhile, miles away from Hosu city a group of cars could be seen driving at high speed down the highway. With over six different police cruisers forming a type of barrier they were able to travel way past the speed limit. On the other hand, the cars in the center of this escort were full of pro Heroes.
"So did All Might really lose his arm?" Kamui Wood, who's hero rank is seventh, had a hard time believing what he had heard. Let alone the fact someone walked straight into UA, they also handicapped the number one hero. "I'm afraid so and apparently he isn't working alone." The man driving the car was an informant as well.
"Although we don't know if it's trustworthy we believe that their next target will be Hosu City. As an extra precaution, we contacted Endeavor so that he can make sure nothing happens while you're all away." Sitting next to Kamui was a blonde-haired woman wearing a dark red traditional Chinese gown and strange claws attached to the side of her face.
"I have a feeling you were right to have us gather as quickly as you did. Have you noticed that the amount of cars on the highway has begun to decrease." Listening to Ryukyu the informant driver noticed that as well. "That's true and what worries me more is that so far all attempts to contact Hosu City have failed."
"Well, we should be arriving soon so w-" Before Kamui Wood could finish speaking he heard the sound of multiple tires screeching. The police cruisers upfront suddenly slammed their brakes which caused some of the cars containing heroes to rear-end them trying to stop themselves. Not helping with the situation the few police cruisers traveling behind them also rammed into the vehicles containing the heroes.
In the end, it caused a large pile-up. "Why did we suddenly stop like that?." Shaking his Kamui Wood checked on everyone else in the car. Other than a few bruises everyone seemed relatively fine. After making sure everyone was safe they made their way out of the car where some police officers and other heroes were already waiting. "What happened?" Ryukyu asked calmly. "It's the highway ma'am!" An officer beckoned the heroes over. "What do you mean?" One of the heroes seemed confused and maneuvered around the crashed vehicles.
Like the officer said it was indeed the highway. It had completely collapsed and that wasn't all. Everything in the area seemed to be in ruins. The nearby trees looked as if they were ready to fall out of the ground at any second and the damage to the highway's supports caused the entire thing to feel unstable.
"How the hell did this happen?" One officer peeked over the edge of the highway. As everyone began to chat with one another both Kamui and Ryukyu looked at one another before nodding. "Everyone listen up." Getting everyone's attention both Kamui began to speak. "Since the Highway is out me and Ryukyu will be carrying you all. We're close to Hosu city so there shouldn't be an issue."
After a couple more minutes of talking amongst themselves, everyone got into their places. Carrying Kamui on her back in her dragon form, Kamui would in turn carry the Heroes and officers using his Arbor quirk. After that, it didn't take long for everyone to get back on the move. "Hosu City should be just ahead." Even carrying a bunch of people, their travel speed was adequate.
"Hold on." Kamui suddenly told Ryukyu to stop, which she did. "What? Did you spot something?" Kamui squinted his eyes as he pointed in a direction slightly to the northeast. "Was there always such a big plot of empty land here?" Everyone seemed confused by the question as they looked towards the direction Kamui was pointing.
In the distance, a giant empty plot of land was cut off from the surrounding forest. It was abnormal and extremely excessive. "Mind taking us down for a second?" Wanting to investigate, Ryukyu agreed and soon everyone landed on the ground safely. "Your right, this is really weird." Excluding the emptiness of the area, there were also random piles of rock.
"Wait for a second!" One of the officers yelled and caught everyone's attention. Tracing the destroyed highways debris with his eyes the officer spoke. "If the highway ends over there and begins to spread over there then…" It was while he was thinking that he spotted a small shadow float across the ground in his field vision.
"Wait then this would be Hosu City?" Putting it all together Ryukyu spoke in a shocked tone as she looked around. "But… But where is the city? There's nothing here." Everyone suddenly felt something was wrong. Nothing had made sense. An entire highway and a whole city had gone missing. "Maybe this is a construction site for a new city. We could have gotten turned around when following the highway."
Everyone had their own theories however those theories came to an end as one male police officer collapsed to his knees. "Oh my god…" The sound of trembling made his voice sound like a horse. He was simply looking straight up at the sky yet he seemed to also be crying. "Hey what are you doing?" A female officer went over to look at him and saw he looked terrified.
Following his line of sight, she looked up at the sky squinting to avoid getting blinded by the sun. "What the hell…" Stunned in place for a moment the female officer's actions were jumbled as she almost tripped when running over to the Heroes. "L- Look! Everyone look up at the sky!" Hearing the women screaming everyone looked up including the heroes and what they saw terrified them.
Floating hundreds of meters into the sky so high that the shadows they cast were barely noticeable was what they were looking for. "But how… How is… But that's." Ryukyu couldn't make out any words when she saw what was floating in the air. "Don't tell me… That's Hosu City?"
Back at Musutafu, Shen was lying lazily on the floor. "It's about four hours since I left Tokyo. Wonder if they found it yet." Laughing to himself Shen couldn't wait to see the look on their faces. "You're here so early?" Walking into the warehouse Midoriya greeted Shen with a polite bow.
Though it was different from the type he would get from Rukia or Urahara it carried more weight as something respectful. "Oh, you're here, good." Sitting up Shen dusted himself off. "There is something I want to show you." With a snap of his fingers, Shen created a vortex to the Bleach Universe. Seeing the vortex to an entirely different universe open before his very eyes, Midoriya's face lit up.
Walking through the vortex Urahara's figure came into view. "Master Shen do you have issues opening these vortex's?" Questioning Shen straight out Shen was confused. "It's been over a week since you sent me back but you never opened the vortex again." Shen blinked for a moment before looking at Urahara with a confused expression. "A week? But we just saw you yesterday-"
Hitting him mid-sentence Shen understood. "Time Dilation huh." Different dimensions could have different time zones so it made sense universes would follow the same principle. Hearing Shen mention Time Dilation, Urahara also put two and two together. "Senior does that mean time travels faster from where you come from?" Midoriya looked at Urahara with an excited look on his face.
However, before Urahara could answer Shen cut him off. "Midoriya, he has work to do." He was not planning on sitting through another nerdfest. Hearing Shen call for him, Midoirya nodded. "Coming!" Walking up to the vortex, Midoriya looked at Shen. "Are you actually going to take me to another universe."
In response, Shen simply smirked before walking through the vortex. Seeing that Midoriya hesitated for a moment and followed him, leaving Urahara to his work. Feeling a bright vibrant light land on his face, Midoriya opened his eyes. He found himself in a massive room surrounded by windows allowing one to see everything around them.
Standing there in utter shock Midoriya slowly made his way to the large windows and peered out. It wouldn't be proper to call it a city nor a factory; it was simply something incredible. "You remember what I told you?" Walking up from behind Midoriya, Shen reminded him about their talk. "You mean about self-gratification?"
Shen nodded before continuing. "Believe it or not this entire world is under my control. Despite the hiccups, I managed to conquer the entire world in a matter of months." Hearing Shen, Midoriya gave off a look of surprise but also of admiration. It looked as though he had filtered out what the words conquer had truly meant and only focused on how incredible it was. "That's incredible…"
"Believe it or not Midoriya, compared to your strength now, you could be a lot stronger in the future. Your ability with Kido is just the beginning. After I'm done with you, you might even be strong enough to do what I did to this world." Midoriya woke up from his daze and looked back at Shen. "You mean… I would be able to create something like this by myself?"
Seeing that look in Midoriya's eyes, Shen could tell his casual talks had really changed Midoriya's mindset. "Truth be told when I'm done with your universe I plan on converting it just like this one. The only problem is I'm a little too busy to manage the worlds I conquer." Midoriya felt his heart beat heavily when he heard Shen say that. "What do you mean?"
Turning around Shen walked towards the throne in the center of the room. "If you're willing to join me, you can do whatever you want with your world. Sure you could still become a hero or you could live the life of self-indulgence that you never could before." Putting two options before Midoriya, Shen could already see he had made a choice.
Not speaking for a moment, Midoriya made his way to Shen. "When I was lost and troubled, you helped me. You gave me the power to change who I was and continued to teach me new things despite me being useless at the time." Smiling at Shen, Midoriya lowered his head politely.
"If I can help you in return, I would gladly join you and help you no matter what you asked of me." Speaking to Shen with a tone full of admiration and excitement, Shen couldn't help but grin.
'In the end, I didn't even have to use any of my abilities to win him over.'
And another one bites the dust. Just kidding it seems Shen has won Midoriya over to his side. What will happen now? Well, Shen will tell you the next chapter so I won't spoil anything.
(Also big thanks to the people helping me check the chapters. Making my life so much easier)
