Bab 104: Unfinished Business

The day of Leena's wedding was promptly approaching, and it seemed like Everest and Leena had overcome the difference of the past. Despite Yulia and uncle Joshua's efforts for forgiveness, the two siblings are closer now than before.

Leena can't go a day without calling to check in on Everest, and he listens to all of her exciting plans about the wedding. However, there is one small stain that Leena has to resolve. 

Everest does not care and has been keeping his distance from getting approached by Reuben, but Leena, on the other hand, called to meet with her father alone. There is some unsettled business she wants to convey to him.

"Thank you for willing to meet with me, papa," Leena's smile does not match her cold tone when Reuben pulls out the seat to sit down.

"I can assume by the tone of your voice that you've heard everything from your mother."
