The vice president's office was our mini-HQ for our discussion and base of operation. The chair for that place was empty because of Natalie's disappearance, aka Anton. We still could use her office although with some annoyance from the DC president itself, Elizabeth Cail.
"Wow, Ommonth is going to teach us? Now that's something that we don't hear every day," Maria said as she put a sword in the middle of Natalie's table.
"What are you expecting me to do, Maria? Sharpen, this sword?" I asked her as I grabbed the sword with my right hand.
"Nah, I just want a new one," she said as she grabbed the sword back from my hand.
"What kind of sword do you want?" I asked her.
"Just an ordinary one-hand sword and a parrying dagger," she said to me.
"Ok, what kind of material do you want?" I asked her as I opened my smartphone.
"This material," she said as she showed her smartphone with a material with a strength four times stronger than steel and also lighter.
"That material? Ok," I said as I used my [Ultimate Summon] to summon that sword for her. A sword and dagger appeared on Natalie's desk with its sheath. She grabbed the sword and tested it out. She swung the swords around, and because of her inability to adapt to that new weight of her sword, the swords flew right from her hand at the most unexpected moments.
The moment the sword flew from her hands, the door was also being opened from someone outside, and the person was none other than Elizabeth. She fell to the ground in shock, and we were helping her as soon as she fell to the ground while Maria was grabbing the sword that was attached to the brick wall.
"Maria, Are you going to kill her??" I shouted while helping Cail to awake as soon as possible.
"Nah, the sword was the one who was trying to kill her," She said as she grabbed the sword that was attached to the wall.
I grabbed the bottle of ammonia from Natalie's desk and put the tip of the bottle to her nose. Slowly, her eyes opened.
"Good morning, pres," I smiled at her while waving my hands.
"Morning, what was that?" She asked me.
"Probably just some random things flying over your head?" I tried to come with an excuse.
"Really?" She asked me again.
"Yeah, anyway, what makes you come here?" I asked her back.
"Take a look at this Wilson," she said as she gave me a file full of writings.
I sat on Natalie's desk while opening the file one by one. As expected, it was a file containing the details of the election. As it turned out that the election wasn't democratic at all. The VC wasn't decided using the vote, but using that fricking duel instead.
The file also said that the loser will have to pay for all of the winner expenses. Well, that's not an easy task, but not a difficult one either. Considering the easy way of getting money from a magical beast was a pretty reasonable cost to income ratio for me. Money wasn't a problem, but I doubt if they can provide me with something equivalent to one battery of my rail gun.
"So, when does the duel starts?" I asked her.
"About next Monday, after school," she said.
"Ok, it is said here that one of my opponents is that "Queen." Is that true?" I asked her.
"Yup," she said.
"So, that's all?" I asked her again.
"That's all for now," she said as she grabbed the files from Natalie's desk.
"Ok," I waved my hands, looking at her, who was leaving the room.
Garth closed the door and sat again on the sofa near the bookcase while Cecile still reading the book about the importance of magic stabilization.
"So Wilson, today you're going to meet with the archery club?" Cecile asked me as she handed me a crossbow.
"Yup, Benjamin said that I have to attend today. He heard that I have some sort of new kind experimental magical weapon," I said as I grabbed the crossbow from her hands.
"The rifle?" Garth said as he grabbed his FNC from the bookrack.
"Nope," I said as I closed the door again and left that room.
I left the council building and headed to the archery club building. The building was still full of bullet holes from the bullets from the previous accident.
I opened the door, and Benjamin greeted me with all of the archery club members. Some of them were happy to see me while some of the others didn' t.
"Here comes my lifesaver, Wilson Galliard," he shook my hands.
"Haha, Nah," I replied as I put my crossbow near the other's bow.
"Guys, this is our new member," he shouted to the rest of them.
"Thank you," I said while poking his back.
