Following the original timeline of the live action movie. Mulan grew up, having a trouble of adapting to her role as a woman. Her mother, arranged her a marriage in futile and she succumb into self doubt. Unfortunately, doesn't have her much time to think about her inner self as an imperial edic came down because of the war: "All men in every family must serve the imperial army"
