Bab 44: Chapter 44 new world just as sick
where Cu, as Cerberus found himself in a dark cave, the magic around him, was rich and abundant, the little white orb that seemed larger than before had slipped out of his fingers and flew away to the apparent exit of the cave Cu was reluctant to let it go but something told him that they will meet again in the distant future.
The next discovery was the fact that he shrunk no the correct word was compressed as when he stepped forward the ground he was on sunk in quite a bit and the strange feeling of having 3 sets of eyes looking around were gone and the extra weight on his shoulders was gone too.
so he conjured a mirror made of ice and yes his height was reduced to 6 feet from the originally towering form and the two extra heads fused with his shoulders as they now looked like pauldrons that were just waiting to attack any foolish enemy that would get close, his head was now a wolf's head with a long snout and razor-sharp teeth peeking out from the sides of his lips, the rest of his body was covered in black hardened bristles at acted as both armor and a weapon waiting to tear at anyone it touches when he is battle-ready!
With a long hairy tail that dangled from his lower back, he was tempted to touch it but he had to focus at the task at hand as he still had a long life ahead of him and that tail won't be going anywhere else.
He wanted to sit back and relax this time as he still had the locked lifespan of an immortal and the constant growth of power before using the ability he had gained for absorbing the superior dragons Cu created a couple of hundred lesser dragons to scout the area around him to understand what kind of world was he sent to.
it only took a few hours to understand that this cave was deep in this open valley and his scouts reported that there were numerous villages around the cave with lush amounts of vegetation growing about as the villagers were wearing simple robe-like clothes made from hemp and strings, which reminded him of a time before Christ was born.
and later learned that magic was a common thing in this world as the villagers were using it with their work and daily life in a manner extremely different from the way done in The previous world he was in!
but what really got him unsettled was the existence of gods and the monsters of this world were used as soldiers or expendable laborers meaning that the monsters didn't hunt people down for food or anything like that the people use their mana to sustain the monsters using them from war or to 'entertainment'(adult version) as one of his scouts got to see a lot of the villagers having sex with a female hobgoblin that looked very similar to a human other than the green skin and pointed ears and the monster simply stared into space blankly with dead fish eyes.
another cruel world again, huh?
Curious about this method he had a small group of his scouts to remove some of the troublemakers that won't be missed a death seeking drunk that gave up on life...

This old man was once called the devil of Koaloopa this life of mine is so shitty i used to be a captain of the guards in Koaloopa until the bastard that i trusted my back and life with destroyed my mana core and crippled my sword arm then left for dead in some godforsaken valley!
I did my best for the people, and the kingdom yet i was ignored and thrown away when i was deemed not worth the effort to heal!

you try hard to ensure the safety of the town from the greedy and corrupt yet 5 years later I'm stuck in a village with my crippled arm shriveled up thanks to how damaged it was then drinking my life away as no one was willing to help me...
but strangely one night a monster arrived in front of me then dragged me to a strange cave that was filled with strange mana that felt so invigorating.
so i wonder who was the summoner of this beast?
was it one of them hermits?
or is this finally my end?
it didn't take long though as the humongous monster with three wolf heads that towered over me made me shit myself!
what do you expect from a man that has been drinking nonstop for nearly three years? I can't use mana anymore nor can I fight with a sword so I am a shadow of myself unable to do anything so I tried talking to the large beast in front of me as calmly as possible.
"hho-how do yo-you do! I-I-I-I"
well fuck! I can't even talk straight much less calmly!
I was crying with snot dripping from my nose from how scared I was!
A snort came from the culprit of my fears as the air shook from the power it had as a terrifying voice followed!
"calm yourself human, I mean you no harm!"

A MONSTER THAT TALKS!!!
This is not good, not good at all!
they say that when a monster learns how to talk it is more than likely one of the monster kings!
I was so in shock that I emptied my bowels completely right then and there as the next words of the monster king awoken me from my absentmindedness and brought more fear yet hope at the same time as these slow words shook my core!
"Tell me human, would you like to be healed? or would you like to be one of us?"
I gulped multiple times as I failed to articulate my words before a gentle white light enveloped me and my crippled arm... was healed and no longer looked like a stick I was crying in joy as I sounded like a wailing baby as i touched my arm hoping that this wasn't one of my dreams wishing that it was really healed!
The large monster king then continued.
"consider healing your arm, a bonus, and to reassure you that I mean you no harm what so ever."
it sounded rather soothing this time before I groveled in thanks as it's underline words made me think was it going to heal my mana core too? but back to the other thing to become one of them? Is-is that even possible?
I looked up to it once more as it raised two fingers or rather claws as it stated its terms.
"Now that you settled down. (finally)"
did it just...?
"i have two terms that i would like for you to follow first off keep this meeting to yourself or you will sadly be replaced"
EH!?
"secondly if you wish for your mana core to be healed, bring me the other crippled people you know"
Uh okay, that seems easy enough?
"if you are tired of being a human, I can gladly make you one of us, same for the others."
