Bab 112: Life threatening

Yu Chen couldn't help but feel his face warming up again as his lips curved up into a beautiful smile. He was about to reply but he felt her body become limp so he remained quiet for a while. 

When he heard her slow and heavy breaths, Yu Chen was finally convinced that she had fallen asleep. He heaved a quiet, deep sigh before he gently kissed her hair. His eyes were dazzling again as he embraced her. His dark eyes began shining like never before, as if the dead stars in them were all slowly coming back to life. 

At that moment, emotions were starting to appear in those previously unfathomable and impenetrable eyes. The lifeless, emotionless eyes were now nowhere to be seen. His eyes were suddenly filled with emotion, almost overflowing with them. It was almost as if he had been completely freed of his carefully cultivated façade.
