"The retribution that you're worried about won't happen.

"Of course, if you're still anxious, the Department can assign someone to protect you in secret until the incident is completely wrapped up…"

Fang Ping thought the possibility of him being attacked for revenge quite low. Plus, he would feel awkward if someone was watching over him. 

He still nodded in acquiescence, though, for his own life and his family's safety. "If possible, I hope that both my family and I can be protected."

"No problem. We'll set about arranging this after you return to Sun City."
