Bab 565: A Reason to Stay

Samantha knew not who to turn to. Her aunt's visit ignited her grief and despair. The only person she knew that was powerful enough to help her, was a man that she had just met nearly three weeks ago.

She lost her reasons, pleading for help from a stranger. She could only hope that one Alfred Lu would aid with her cry of justice. 

Alfred watched in pain, seeing Samantha cry without hold. While he had long planned to look into her parent's death, he wondered what caused her to break down suddenly. 

He thought, 'This was not the Samantha I met. She had a beautiful glow on her face and twinkling eyes.'

Letting out a sigh, he sat next to her on the couch and first caressed on her back. "Tell me. Tell me about your parents."

While stumbling in her words, Samantha shared the tragic death of her parents five years ago. As she narrated, she carelessly wiped the wetness on her face with her slender fingers.
