Bab 163: Cold + Drought
Since Lu Fang and Andrea were set to leave for Korea the week after, Alfred arranged for Christina and Lu Wei to visit Britain the next month.
The couple had gone back to the office to take care of work, while Alfred, Gabriel, Christina, and Lu Wei went back to the Oriental Hotel and discussed important matters.
Gao Rou and Hanxi, on the other hand, sent Lu Jie home before returning to Lu-Wei Enterprises.
Christina was astonished looking at the documents before her. It was the transfer of deeds for some of the Davies' properties and shares to the Davies Group of Companies. She let out a long sigh before saying a word, "I'm not sure if I deserve this Alfred -"
"Of course you do! You are a Davies. It was wrong for our father to cut you off like that, but it doesn't matter now. He already passed away. It is my responsibility to make things right by you."
Christina looked up to Gabriel and asked, "Are you comfortable with this?"
