The power of that hit made the thug flew backwards as he landed painfully with a groan on the ground.
After hitting the shirtless thug onto the ground Guan Yu barely noticed the wooden bat that's swinging at him from the side.
His eyes widened in fear as the wooden bat came closer and closer to hitting his head in a powerful blow.
As it was about to strike him down he remembers Tony teaching him before, "In a fight against multiple opponents always make sure to take in the entire surrounding."
Guan Yu takes a step backwards with his right foot which manages to help him avoid the swing of the wooden bat.
His heart beat wildly as he felt the force of the wooden bat which was only a millimeter away from breaking the tip of his nose.
"That was too close…" he gasped back in anxiety.
Seeing that his attack with the bat was blocked the man turns his heel facing Guan Yu while grabbing the handle with his other hand to swing back again.
The wooden bat was swinging at him horizontally in a swift manner and Guan Yu knows that this time he's not so lucky as to be able to avoid the impact of that large bat.
As the bat came near him he noticed the feet position of the man which reminded him of his practice at the Wing Chun dummy.
Picking his right feet up from the ground Guan Yu stretches his upper body away from his opponent while hitting an oblique kick at the man's left thigh area.
The strike from his right foot made the man stumble backwards and lose the momentum of the wooden bat which missed Guan Yu's head area.
Seeing that his opponent has lost his balance and stumbling back, Guan Yu remembers back to the day in the warehouse where Tony using the opportunity would swing with the rod at the head of the gangsters.
As the thug falls backward in his stumble Guan Yu takes a large stride into his body's centreline and swings at his left cheek with his fist.
The other thugs watch with surprise as their friend falls to the ground and is completely knocked out by the young kid in front of them.
Guan Yu looks at his clenched right fist with amazement and a new surge of confidence in all that Tony has taught him the past months.
Seeing that the shirtless man coming at him again with his fist heading straight at his face Guan Yu easily blocks it from the inside with his elbow.
'Make the first punch a strong one,' Tony's voice resonates inside his mind, 'turning your whole body's kinetic into that one punch.'
Guan takes a dominant step into the shirtless man's boundary and turns his body as he hooks the man's chin with his right fist.
The man's pupil turns upwards in his eyelids as his brain collides with the inside of his skull.
Guan Yu looks at the last thug who was watching from the side, his legs trembling with fear as he takes a step back with hesitation.
He was holding a short knife in defence as Guan Yu took a small step towards him.
"No!" the man mutters to himself in a trembling voice.
His eyes resemble that of a deer caught by a headlight, dropping his weapon on the floor the thug quickly sped away from the scene.
Watching the last opponent flee into the distance Guan Yu takes a look at the man who got wounded on the ground, his injuries to his head seemed very serious.
"He seems to be badly injured…" Guan Yu observes, "I know a doctor close by that can help."
The lady in white dress hesitated for a second as she looked at Guan Yu and turned her glance back at the injured man then nodded in agreement to the decision.
Guan Yu got on his knees to carefully piggyback the injured man onto his back.
At home Tony was sitting on a chair reading up on the factory base of the Li gang when he heard a knock on his closed wooden doors.
Unlocking the doors he saw a fatigued Guan Yu with an deeply injured man unconscious on his back.
"Master Liang, you must heal the man…" Guan Yu says while carrying the man with the help of Tony to the wooden bed in his shop.
Placing the man down on the bed Tony starts examining the injured man's head carefully.
Then he took out the pouch of acupuncture needles and inserted a sanitized needle carefully into the area in the middle of the man's brows.
While also connecting a warm current of Qi through that needle, finishing the procedure he removes the sharp needle.
The lady in white dress asked with worry, "Is he going to be alright?"
"Miss he's suffered some traumatic injury to his brain. But he will wake up soon," Tony smiles calmly while handing her a small wrapped package. "This is some pills to reduce the swelling."
"Thank you doctor," the lady says while walking over to gently grab hold of the man's hand.
The tension in her heart was lessened as she was told that the man will be fine.
"Here's some tea...it might help calm you down," Guan Yu says while handing her a warm cup of green tea that Tony poured out.
The lady in white dress smiled in thankfulness taking hold of the warm cup of tea into her hands.
While sitting in a chair Tony asked calmly in curiosity, "Miss, how come the man's so deeply injured?"
The lady looks at the tea in her hands, "My brother is a hard worker but after the death of our parents...we were left with a huge debt."
There was an ominous silence as Tony adds, "By the Li gang?"
The lady was surprised by Tony's prediction and nodded, "They took away all our home's possessions to be pawned."
"Bastards!" Guan Yu says through his gritted teeth.
Feeling the warmth of the cup she proceeded, "Yesterday I came back from school to find that...our home was taken away and my brother laying on the floor with his hands bruised."
"If not for this gentleman today I wouldn't know what would have happened," she said to Tony while pointing her head in the direction of Guan Yu.
