Bab 4: Chapter 4: Iron Man Part 2
"Tony's been captured by a terrorist organization. They call themselves the Ten Rings."
My expression turns grim, I knew this would happen, but that doesn't make it any easier to swallow. Right now I just want to beat something up. I feel my left hand start to swell, probably keyed into my emotions and waiting to explode and devour. My friends notice my expression and they start to become a little worried.
"Is this for real Happy?" I ask.
"I'm sorry Morgan, the military is working on ways to get him out." He replies.
"Send someone to pick me up, NOW." I say as hang up and stand.
"I have to go, I probably won't be around for a while." I tell the group.
"Wait, Morgan what's up?" Peter asks me.
"You'll see it on the news later, but I have to go now. Bye."
When I walk out of the diner, I ask Alfred (my AI) to find any nearby criminal activities going on right now that I can reach quickly.
"Currently, 2 criminal activities are happening within 1 mile from you. About 0.7 miles from you, the criminal, "Black Knight," is robbing a bank. The two boys who you deemed, "Ron and Harry," are pickpocketing people 0.2 miles away."
"Thank you Alfred, please send me the coordinates of the bank that is being robbed. Also, record a video of the two boys and send it to their parents."
"As you wish."
///At the Bank///
I watch as the Black Knight orders the bankers to give him all of their money. This must be the evil Black Knight, Nathan Garret. From my memory, I recall that the Black Knight's power came from his sword, the Ebony Blade.
The Ebony Blade is a blade enchanted by Merlin, it is indestructible and has many different abilities. It can cut through all physical substances except for extremely hard metals such as Adamantium and Vibranium. It can also cut through a lot of magic stuff and can deflect or absorb almost all types of energy.
It also has a curse on it that affects people in different ways, when the villain Bloodwraith got the blade he gained superhuman qualities and became a master swordsman, but the blade compelled him to kill innocents.
A/N: Marvel comics are weird and I'm pretty sure I'm not interpreting the powers and abilities of the Ebony Blade completely correct. If some expert finds a serious problem with the way I'm using the Ebony Blade, then I'll try to change it.
'You shouldn't interfere Morgan, you promised everyone that you wouldn't lose control of your powers or use them. And you only planned to break the promise after the Avengers formed."
As I was deciding on what I should do, the situation on the inside of the bank escalated, the Black Knight decides to kill everyone anyway. I finally notice when he's about to kill a little girl, time seems to slow as I desperately run as fast as my superhuman legs can take me to save the girl.
Right when the blade is about to hit her, lunge as hard as I can and tackle her out of the way of the blade. I'm ecstatic, I saved the girl without losing control of my powers, but then I feel it. The sensation I dread, the feeling of power flooding though my body, waiting to take over the minute I see the thing that pushes me to a dangerous place.
I feel it, slowly running down my nose, then my cheek, to my chin, then finally falling and landing on hand. I can't stop myself from looking down and seeing it, a drop of my blood.
I feel power surging through my body and before my conscience succumbs to the power, I force myself to throw the girl to safety. Then, I can't hold back anymore, and the battle begins.
The Black Knight, looks at me and shudders. He subconsciously wants to run, but at the same time knows there is no escape. He prepares himself for what is to come, but he isn't ready to take me down, they never are. He see my eyes go dead and he realizes the same thing as me.
I summon shadow spikes around him and send them on course to impale him multiple times, but he swings the Ebony Blade and destroys all of them. I charge in swinging my left hand in a overhead punch, as he ducks though, I pull it back and uppercut him with my right hand.
My super strength has increased tenfold and he goes flying. He lands and quickly staggers back up to his feet. I charge once again but this time he swings his sword down diagonally, cutting from my left side to the right. I block it with my left hand, trusting that my hand is strong enough to withstand the Ebony Blade.
Black Knight staggers backward, then rushes at me again. He swings carelessly, like the desperate man he is. I effortlessly dodge and kick the back of his leg, making him fall to a knee. Then I punch him so hard in the face that the helmet cuts straight into his face, making him scream. He drops his sword and desperately rips the helmet off, then he faces and begs for his life.
I walk towards him slowly, completely ignoring the cries for help and lift him up with my right hand. Then I grab his face with my left hand, and unleash all of the leftover power surging through my body straight into him. He screams as I drop him while his entire body starts withering and shriveling up.
Then I black out.
///?? Minutes Later///
I slowly pull myself up, now in control of my body, and I see the carnage that happened after the fight. I begin to stagger off when I see a certain Ebony Blade seeming to call to me, I hear the wailing of police sirens so I huury and grab the sword. Then I rush off to find wherever Happy is.
///Some Months Later///
The events of Iron Man have almost gone their full course, Tony just has to reveal that he is Iron Man to the world.
So,
"The truth is…I am Iron Man."
///1 Week Later///
So as usual, everyone freaks out over Tony revealing that he's a superhero, but there is a question that everyone is asking that was never there before.
"Now that Tony Stark has revealed himself as the Iron Man, people are demanding that he reveal his adopted son, Morgan Stark's, face and history. Their argument is that as a superhero, Mr. Stark has a responsibility to the people to remain transparent. Currently, the superhero has not responded to these requests about revealing his son to the world."
