Bab 8: Chapter 8
Ronald makes a quick sign at the chef who immediately rushed in with a bottle of champagne in his hands
"I wanted us to make a quick toast "he added collecting the campaign from the chef
" Why did you buy this, why did we even need to make any toast , did anything special happen in our life?" I asked he look at me weirdly and a bit speechless
"That is what I wanted to know, you should at least feel pity for my parents who died before making a stupid toast" this happened the other time and I was poisoned slowly through the campaign which he personally brought to the restaurant and pretended like it was the chef's offer.
"At Least let's have a toast for old times and today is your birthday " he tried to sound genuine
"I think today was also the funerals of my parents should we really be celebrating about it " I said to him
" I was not trying to make it seem that way I just wanted us to celebrate nothing more " Ronald said to me trying to act innocent
" What is your problem anyways why are you acting like them dying means your whole life has come to an end " Natasha added I look at her with bitterness.
" Do you even really care about them really ,your uncle and aunty... because this is enough for me to even take my life at this extent but I don't know why you see it as an achievement and a day we should pop a champagne and celebrate" I said to them still trying my very best to hold in the anger and hatred in me
"Whatever, you just have to live your life. They are already gone, you don't have to keep doing without them. All things must come to an end….. live your life why do you make it seem like your world should come to an end because they left too early " Natasha argued with me.
I was not ready to start a stupid argument with Natasha so I wave the matter off
" You know what Natasha , let's not be talking about it just bring up another topic but not this "I said to her.
Ronald drops the champagne on the table moving closer to both of us.
" Would you two please stop arguing, I did not bring you to here for an argument" he said mostly referring to me
"I don't really care stop acting nice with me please. I don't even know why you brought Natasha here are you also angry or are you two lovers or something I thought there was like something I supposed to be with him lover and I don't want to celebrate there's nothing you will do that will make me change my mind about that " I said to him he immediately frowned at me. I know I was finally getting on his nerves but that is what he got for trying to tell me how to go on with my life and what to do...I did not care anymore and was not concerned about his thoughts .
"You really know how to act tough Erica "Ronald said suddenly being gentle with his words , why is he trying his best to hold in all the hatred he has for me. I just smiled. That thing was I was not ready to argue in any way so I decided that we will not continue the discussion.
I kept quiet as the chef and his assistant walked in with our meal, arranging it on the table and bowing a little before leaving us.
I decided to dish out my food and not care about the stupid dramas happening within them, they both look at me a little surprised …..yes I really don't care about their feelings all I needed was a piece of mind so I just began to eat my dish ..... Ronald stares at me weirdly
" You really have a huge appetite" Ronald commented but I was not ready to answer any of them as I continued to put a handful of food into my mouth as they both stared at me in astonishment but I was not minding their stares.
I would make life a living hell for them, that I promise but first I have to make them presume they can still trust on me which was an easy job for me since I could easily manipulates Ronald into believing everything I say….but getting Natasha on my side is the hardest part of everything but I would get to any length just to get what I want , even if it meant doing the unspeakable and making harsh decisions for myself…I need to act up quickly and show them all what I am really capable of doing.
