Bab 8: I fucked it all up------My first lie to tell her (1)
Zong was a nerd, he loves writing codes, hacking, playing video games, or creating one. When he attends a social function, it was because his parents insisted that he should, and the other reason was to quench his thirst for sexual desire.
There were very few people that he was emotionally attached to, and those few people related to him by blood, but when he saw MelLi, he knew she was the one and must conquer her.
In those two years, he never imagined that she will be in his house, talking to him and even kissed him on the cheek. She was his, and only his to keep for life… He did not plan to release her, despite informing her after four years they would go on their separate ways. The was no such thing in the agreement which he forced her to sign through manipulating her inner guilt.
He planned to brainwash her and make her fall madly in love with him, just the way he was… And the scary part was that he did not feel an ounce of guilt doing it.
Now, all his planned was ruined yet again by his so-called spy, best friend, Yan.
"How could he be so careless…?" he thought to himself when he saw what she was holding in her hand.
"I can explain…" was all he could master saying
He could not think of any reasonable explanation to give her. One that might not result in him to lose her.
She sat down on her chair, looking at him with eyes that say I am waiting for your explanation.
After sitting down, she just raises her brown waiting for him to start to talk…
Her aura has changed to one that was suffocating, her gaze was building up his fear of losing her. As he swallows his own saliva.
She just watched as his Adam's apple going up and down with each swallow.
He did not look as confident as he was two night ago when she tried to steal from him.
Now he looked like a guy who will soon lose the love of his life... one that was caught cheating his partner with someone else
She, on the other hand, her heart was pounding inside her chest as an adrenaline shot through her arteries... making her body temperature rise…
"No way, it couldn't be him…. Could it.... did he really find me? Does he really know who I am?" she had panic attack…
But she could not let it show.
For once, when she saw how beautiful and thoughtful, he put her fashion design room, she was happy; finally, someone else was caring for her, but now she was not sure what to believe until he explains himself.
" MelLi, my wild cat, I love you very much more than my own life but I have to lie to you, so that you won't get scared and leaving me. I am very sorry for doing this to you...." He thought to himself
He let out a huge breath, the fear and the tension around his heart finally eased. He clears his throat and finally spoke to her
