Bab 4: Chapter 2.5 side story of the Alliance Army
"Please excuse me my King but the humans have made their move"
An Elven guard entered An Alliance Meeting room, There sat the Alliance's leaders, Tivan the Dwarven King, Cavor The Siren HighPriest, Dong Gu The current Lucifer of the Demon Tribes, Raden The Elven King, Kroy The Dragon King (Dragoids were half human half dragon, their leader is called The Dragon King, only by the Dragon Kings descendant that they can shape shift into a Dragon or Blessed by the Dragon Elders that A Dragoid can turn into a Dragon), and Garrom the King of Beast-mans, they were discussing about the Humans next move and where they might attack, they sat as behind them stood Their Personal Guards, they gave an intimidating pressure and ready to fight anytime.
The Elven Guard was kneeling and Raden gave a wave signaling him to stand up and speak
"My king, The Humans are targeting the Guino River, their purpose are unclear what, and yet they mobilize a huge army, No Giants detected, No War Machines, only foot soldiers"
"That's the news we're waiting for" Tivan slammed his hand to table while standing up
"Yes...Yes... That is indeed the news we're waiting for" Raden then calmly responded to Tivan and the Guard
"Which Army shall we mobilize?" Garrom then said with a hurried tone as if he's excited for it
"Since this is happening in The Dwarven lands better you decide Tivan", Raden offered a solution which everyone agrees
"We shall Mobilize the 9th Army under the command of General Philoer, He is one of my most trusted commander, in a small scale battle like this, he is the right man for the job, and he is a dwarf, so he might have an advantage over the Humans"
Everyone nodded in agreement, Then Raden, The Head of The Alliance (He is the wisest) ordered
"Send a word to General Philoer to mobilize immediately, intercept them before reaching the Guino River, just beside the Alezor Forest, According to our records there should be nearby Dwarven village, protect that village as well"
The Guard nodded while saying "Right away My king" The Guard left the room and went to the Communication room, It is a room with a few incantations of telepathy magic, normally telepathy is only effective within 2KM but An enhancement magic incantations were also there, Now it's effective for 50KM, the room itself was pretty big and felt empty, and there are only 5 people in there, One in the middle to relay any information given, 3 were casting Enhancement magic, and the Other was greeting the guard and received the order, as soon as the order is finished, the guard went outside and the man receiving went to the man in the middle and whisper him the order,
The middle man understood and relay it to General Philoer, These Communication teams are scattered around the Territory of the Alliance, and the members are always elves, since they have high concentration and have high density of mana in their bodies, naturally, there are rare cases where the humans would intercept any message given, as Human Assassins can do it with their magic to intercept, Humans can do magic like elves and many others, it's just not as advanced as elves, they can do simple magic, and to intercept messages they need to be 2KM within range of the receiver, and unfortunately, A Human Assassin managed to Intercept the Message.
The Sender can detect if the Message was intercepted by the flow of mana that have been blurred by the Interception magic, To counter this the Elves also put a hint of detection magic inside the message, so when intercepted, the receiver and the sender knows the location of interceptor.
Good thing, the Assassin was near General Philoer 's Hunters, and managed to take down the assassin
General Philoer just came out from the Armory of his Camp, he just finished inspecting the Armory, and then A Dwarven guard came and reported him
"Sorry to disturb sire" Philoer then paid attention to the dwarven guard that came to him that seems to have brought some news,
"What is it Dwon?"
"Sire the Alliance Leaders have given us an order to intercept a Human army mobilizing nearby the Alezor Forest and they seems to came to the Guino River in search of something, they seemed armored enough but so far nothing except Foot soldiers"
Philoer sighed, and said, "Is that so... anything else?"
The Guard then said
"Sire we captured a human Assassin that tried to intercept the message, we killed him on sight so we have nothing to worry about"
Philoer then softly caress his brown beard, and then with a bang he said,
"A'right Tell the men we goin to move first thing in the morning, let's drive those human scum out of our land"
"Aye sir" The guard responded and then shouted, "All Lieutenants ready the army, we are going to move first thing in the morning, We are going to intercept the enemy near the Alezor forest, their objective is the Guino River, It is a very strategic place, it can attack the Dwarven capital if the humans managed to get there, MOVE OUT!!!" As The Lieutenant s heard it, they move their army, raise their army, Dwarven shouts can be heard, There are also elves, demons, beastmans, Dragoids among them, sirens are in charge of the navy, so they rarely a part of the ground army, The army readies itself by equipping armors, weapons, and horses, for the dwarves, they ride The Mountain Ram, a large Ram that have Large horn to breakthrough enemy ranks, it was a sight to be seen.
Finally the First thing in the morning they set out for Alezor Forest, The Army march proudly as they sang the songs of How the First Dwarven king created the Dwarven Kingdom.
