Bab 23: Chapter 23
Genos was surprised to see that the new S-Class hero that emerged right before he did is present and the others are not.
"hello, I'm Genos nice to meet you" he then turned to see Bang and said "3rd Rank S-Class hero Silver Fang, it's an honor" he said expressionlessly.
"Don't mind the formalities, this is an emergency, we 3 are the only available heroes, that answered the call" Bang said with a grim expression.
"I'm curious when they would act?" Akira questioned.
"they are either busy or out of reach" Bang still explained.
"there is no time for that the meteor is coming closer, every second is crucial" Akira then disappeared by using *Time Stop*.
While all of this happening Genos has already left when he heard they're the only ones present.
"Now what are we going to do?, we need t..." Bang realized that the new heroes already left while he was speaking.
Akira went to the roof top of the best point of view for the immobilized fiery meteor, he looked at it and thought 'that's a big boulder', he then resumed time and pulled his op-blade(i probably need a name for it).
After a little bit he saw Genos and a big humanoid metal robot coming closer at a fast speed directly towards Akira, who scoffed and swung with the normal sword creating a small wind blade at the incoming metal man, who at the same time dodged nearly and changed his direction and stopped at the same rooftop with Akira and the newcomer Genos, who saw the little scene between them.
"you being an S-Class doesn't mean you can attack fellow heroes" the metal man said.
Akira didn't entertain him and said "next time i won't swing at your puppet only, be careful you might get an accident in a laboratory of yours" he smiled threateningly and looked at Genos who had a surprised and wary expression.
"hey cyborg boy do you have something you can use against this rock" Akira said with an easy going tone which was different from the one he used earlier.
"I'm not sure, but I'll try" Genos threw his suitcase in the air and it opened, then 2 arms got out and he became upgraded.
"Bofoi, Godspeed, we need to work together" he said to which the guy speaking through the robot said.
"I'm here just to test my new weapon and call me Metal Knight" he seemed annoyed by Genos calling his real name.
Akira smiled saying "Bofoi, is it? nice to meet you, my name is Godspeed, i have a question where's the knight in your nickname, i can't see it" Akira said condescendingly.
You can hear Metal Knight gritting his teeth "y-you".
"stop wasting time and try your useless toys Metal Bofoi, hahaha".
Akira had fun making Bofoi angry.
Metal Knight said "i have some mechanical issues in this robot sorry I can't help" he then left.
Genos got annoyed by them who were arguing while the place was in danger.
"You made him leave" he shouted.
"Mind your tone, and he left i didn't make him" Akira said in an emotionless voice.
Genos was about to speak again but he got interrupted by Bang saying "ehh, sorry to bother your conversation but the meteor is coming closer".
Genos was surprised and thought for a little while then he put his core on a slot available in his arm and shot towards the meteor.
the area around him became hot and Bang with Akira backed up by some distance.
the beam just clashed with the meteor but nothing happened to it, Genos exhausted his power and fell to the ground.
Akira felt someone coming close to him in an insane speed then he instinctively stopped time and turned around to see Saitama mid air between the buildings, Akira contemplated the blank egg face, and returned to his position as he resumed time.
