Bab 168: Egg Retrieval Day (2)

The two men rolled their eyes at the doctor before following the nurse out. They were used to Dr. Phillip's indifferent and treatment. The latter was well known among their circle of friends for hating adult men. If they did not know him better, they would have thought of him as a pervert.

Dr. Phillip was the kind of person who absolutely adored children, tolerated women, and hated men. No one knew why he had such a weird temperament, but Caleb's father, William Tan, used to joke that Dr. Phillip probably hated men because DX used to pick on him. And that he tolerated women because their best friend, Layla Rong, always protected him. 

As for children... No one really knew why he was so protective of them. For as long as Callum remembered, Dr. Phillip had always been protective toward the children, even to children that he had never seen before.
