Cacha could not wait for her parents to come. Upon their arrival, she had many questions to ask to her mother about motherhood. Mrs Feng patiently explained to her. She also requested her mother even her father to cook for her. She was always their baby so the couple fulfilled all her wishes.
the third day after Mr and Mrs Feng arrival, they just finished their dinner. Kenichi watched from the door as Cacha was chatting with her mother
"Sir, Madam is very close to her mother" Uncle Hiro said .
"They are. My parents in law are very easy going"
"We know. They're very nice people"
"To be honest, we're all much confortable with them compare to yours" Aunty Mei joined them.
Uncle Ryu nugged Aunty Mei, warned her not to say anyfurther. He was worry that boss would angry. No matters what, they were his family, they had blood relations.
To their astonishment, Kenichi was agreed "You're right. I'm the same. Did my father in law spend his time working on the lawn ?"
"He did. We tried to stop him but.." Middle said.
"Let him do it, he loves gardening. Just Assist him as much as you can"
"Yes sir"
Kenichi went to living room. Mr Feng was there alone reading online newspapers "Dad, do you fancy to play chess with me ? I haven't played for ages"
Mr Feng titled his head and smiled "Of course" then He folded the newspapers.
Kenichi set the chess on the table. Then they started the game.
Mr Feng moved first "How do you feel to be a father ?"
Kenichi moved his cheese piece "Nervous. I don't know how to be a good father"
Mr Feng laughed "I was like you too when Nick was born"
Then Mr Feng shared his experience while they were playing. Grandma and Grandpa Anderson who spent time with Ann arrived at that time. They were astonished to see how closethe pair of father in law and son in law were.
Grandma Anderson signed "When Can Andrew chat with Finlay like that ? He's Finlay's father after all"
Grandpa shook his head "I don't know. Thinking back, I too never share my experience with my children"
"You're too busy, you barely had time for the kids. Andrew too"
"The past can't be change. Finger cross the tounger generations won't make same mistake like us" Grandpa signed.
"Nana, Grand" Cacha greeted the elders.
"Hello, in law"
"Hello" Grandma and Mrs Feng gave each other a cuddle.
Grandpa Anderson let the ladies alone and walked to see the chess match "Who is the winner? "
"Dad win. I lost" Kenichi was not good at chess at all.
Mr Feng grinned "He just need to practice"
Grandpa Anderson chuckled "Young man is hopeless. Let me play"
Kenichi gave up his seat to his grandfather. He went back to his wife who was chatting on the otherside of the living room.
"Nana, Are you going with me to Hokaido ? Bro's company collaborates with local government to hold a culture festival there" Lynn who just came home asked grandmother.
"When ?" Grandma Anderson asked.
"This weekend. It will be last for three days start from friday. I'm going there the day after tomorrow"
"Nana, you should go and you too mum. It will be interesting. I too wish to come" Cacha urged
"We can't live you alone" Mrs Feng's amin reason to come was to accompany her daughter. She was not interested to go anywhere while her daughter was approaching her due date.
"Your mum is right. You only few days away from the due date, we can't leave you alone" grandma Anderson had same tought. For her, look after the pregnat lady was the priority.
"Mum, Nana. I'll be fine. I have many friends here to look after me"
"But"
"Mum, don't worry about me. We even have Sister Aoi who is an experienced nurse here" Cacha persuaded them. She really wanted them to go and had fun.
Grandpa Anderson and Mr Feng were immersed with their match. They did not bother with the festival at all. Anyway, they had to follow what ever their wife said. If The ladies wished to go then go.m if they refused to go then they stayed at home.
Seeing Mrs Feng was hestitate, Kenichi finally spoke up "Mum, Nana. You just go with Lynn and Jun. The festival is going to be very exciting one. Don't worry about Cacha, I'm here to look after her"
"We're going but we'll be back on Sunday" Grandma was agreed.
"Sure"
"Darling, you are not going !?" Cacha asked
"No. Jun will be there on my behalf"
"Why ?"
"I can't leave you here alone and I don't want to"
Lynn looked at her brother. She was envy her sister in law to have such a devoted husband.
"Darling, this is very important event. You have to be there. I'll be fine"
Mrs Feng was delighted that Kenichi loved her daughter so much. However, She did not want him to neglect his work "Kenichi, if it's important, you have to come. Let me and your dad stay here"
Kenichi pinched his eyebrows. Judging from how stubborn his wife, his mother in law and his grandmother were he had to change plan. "Mum, you and Nama together with Dad and Grand should go. I'm going there on first day. I'll fly in the morning and come back on the same day"
"Sounds good" Grandma agreed.
Lynn smiled "Well, I'm going to let Jun knows then"
"Lynn, have you had dinner yet ? do you want me to ask aunty Mei to prepare your dinner ?" Cacha asked as Lynn dashed to the second floor.
"Thank so much my dearest sister, but I had dinner already" Lynn winked.
Grandpa was lost his first game. They now began their second round. He set up this chess pieces "Finlay, How is she at work ?"
Kenichi shrugged "She's okay, I guess. Jun has no complaints at all"
"That's good. I was worry she made a mess like Ann and Bell did" Grandpa moved first.
"We're better sleep now. Your Grand and Dad can play with whole night" Grandma signed as she threw an annoying glance at her husband.
Kenichi snorted before said loudly "Grand, Nana is jealous that you prefer play chess with Dad rather than sleep with her"
"You, don't talk nonsense ! I'm not jealous at all, I just don't want sit here the whole night" Grandma glared at Kenichi.
Cacha poked Kenichi's and shook her head. He coughed "Grand.. Are you going to sleep now ?"
Grandpa Anderson was in the middle of his game. He was nearly lost the game. Mr Feng was very good at chess, he had three sons who often played with him.
Grandpa had to fully concentrate "Don't talk to me now !! let your Nana sleep first. Cha, bring your husband to your room and shut his mouth !"
Grandma giggle "Your grand must nearly lost. Tya, lets have rest. He won't let your husband go until he won"
Mrs Feng giggled too "it looks like going to be along night. Cha, can you ask Mei to prepare tea for them ?"
"Mum, do Dad and Grand often play chess together ?" Cacha asked.
"Few times"
"Once they play, they won't stop until morning" Grandma added.
Kenichi easily detected strong arome of jealous from his grandmother. He laughed lowly "Babe, lets sleep now"
Cacha was agreed. She was tired.
Before he went to bed, Kenichi instructed his three musketeers security guard to keep an eye of who won the game because he understood that His grandfather was to proud to admit if he lost.
He hoped his father in law won, so he could tease his grandfather the next day.
