The hours passed, and there was a knock at Tiqa's door. Tiqa woke up, mumbled, "Come in," and Elisabeth entered the room, closing the door behind her. Elisabeth curtisied and said, "Good morning, Your Highness." Tiqa mumbled, "Good morning, Elisabeth." Elisabeth said, "Come on Your Highness. We can't have you late for breakfast with His Highness. Now you take a shower and I will get your clothes together." A smile came to Tiqa's face, and she ran to the bathroom while saying, "Okay."
After Tiqa took her shower, she came out and sat on her bed. Elisabeth walked out of Tiqa's closet, holding a soft gray, silk, column style, dress, and black heels in her hands. Elisabeth asked, "What about this," and Tiqa answered, "It's wonderful! I love it." Elisabeth helped Tiqa get dressed, and then Elisabeth did Tiqa's hair into a fishtail braid. Tiqa said, "It looks beautiful, Elisabeth! Thank you so much." Elisabeth said, "You're welcome, Your Highness. Now let's get you to the garden. I want you to be right on time."
They left Tiqa's room and headed for the garden. Once they got there they saw two servants that had brown pants and black shirts, Justin, two lace placemats that had plates on top of them that were covered by metal coverings that all sat on top of the glass table, silverware that sat on top of napkins that were next to the plates, a vase with roses in the center of the table, two metal chairs that sat around the glass table that were cushioned, two glasses that had orange juice in them that sat on top of lace coasters, and Stephen who wore a white, button up, dress shirt, and tan khakis standing next to the table. Elisabeth curtisied, said, "Goodbye Princess Tiqa and Prince Stephen," and left. Stephen bowed while Tiqa curtisied, and Stephen said, "Tiqa Princess... I mean Princess Tiqa, I'm glad that you came." Tiqa said, "I'm glad to be here." The servants pulled out the chairs, Tiqa and Stephen sat down, and the servants pushed in their chairs and stood by the plates. Justin said, "Today's breakfast is omelets, a blueberry english muffin, and to drink orange juice." The servants took off the metal coverings to reveal the food. Justin and the servants bowed while Justin said, "I hope the food is to your liking," and they left. Stephen said, "I hope you like omelets." Tiqa smiled and said, "I love them! Omelets are delicious. Wait, I mean omelets are exquisite. They are such a delectable food. What a charming meal. Did I say that, right?" Stephen smiled and said, "Perfectly."
They said Grace and began to eat. Tiqa said, "What an honor to be here on such a beautiful day with His Highness." Stephen chuckled and said, "You know you don't have to talk like that around me." Tiqa laughed and said, "I know, but it's good practice." Stephen said, "Well, you're so good at it. You don't need practice. You're perfect." Tiqa's face turned red, and she said, "Thank you, Your Highness, but I'm not perfect." Stephen said, "I think you are." She smiled and said, "Um... Thank you." She continued to eat as Stephen stared at her. Tiqa looked at him to see him staring at her and said, "You're staring again." Stephen's face turned red. He quickly looked away and said, "I'm starting again? I didn't notice." Tiqa asked, "Why is it that you stare?" Stephen said, "Oh... Um... Ah..." Tiqa asked, "Are you okay?" Stephen said, "Ah yes, I'm perfectly fine." He drank some of his juice, and she said, "Hmm, this must be different for you." Stephen asked, "What do you mean?" Tiqa answered, "It's just I went from the forest to being a princess overnight, and now we're eating together. You've met countless princesses, ladies in waitings, and noblewomen. I've never held a high title." Stephen said, "Well, being here with you is better than being with those other women." She looked at him and said, "You're so sweet."
An hour passed, they finished their breakfast, and were talking. Stephen chuckled while saying, "Did Driaka really get twigs caught in her hair?" Tiqa laughed and said, "Yes, and it took me about 2 days to get it all out... It was difficult to be so young and trying to be her parents, but God helped me get through it. He provided for us and taught me what to do." Stephen said, "Your story is remarkable. You are remarkable." Her face turned red, and she said, "Thank you, Your Highness." Stephen said, "Your face is the shade of the roses." Tiqa gasped and said, "It is? Oh, I'm sorry." Stephen said, "It's still beautiful even in that shade of red." Tiqa smiled and said, "Is that supposed to be a compliment? Because it's not a very good one." Stephen chuckled and said, "I thought it was perfect." Tiqa chuckled and said, "Well, I don't think it was perfect, so I'm leaving." She stood up, and he stood up along with her asking, "Where are you going?" She smiled and said, "I'm leaving." She began to leave, he and said, "You're really going to leave me?" She looked at him and said, "Maybe." He asked, "But what if I want you to stay?" She said, "I may stay." Stephen said, "Well then, I want you to stay here." She said, "Hmm," and they sat back down. He said, "Looks like you wanted to stay too." They looked into each other's eyes, and Elisabeth walked over to them. Elisabeth curtsied, said, "Excuse me, Your Highness Princess Tiqa," they quickly stood up, looked over at Elisabeth, and Tiqa said, "Yes." Elisabeth said, "I don't mean to bother you two but your studies. You can't be late." Tiqa said, "Oh yes. I almost forgot about those." Tiqa began to walk over to Elisabeth and said, "I guess this breakfast is over." He grabbed her hand and said, "Wait, you have to leave properly." She chuckled, turned around to face him, she curtsied and he bowed while they held hands, she said, "It was a pleasure to be here," he kissed her hand, and said, "I enjoyed it very much." Her face turned red, she said, "Um... I'll see you later," and walked away with Elisabeth with a smile on her face. He stared at them leaving and thought she's perfect.
