Bab 65: Longing Heart(2)
The next morning Liu Rachael woke up and found herself tucked under the covers of her bed, unsure how she made it to the bedroom.
"I still have my dress on instead of my pajamas, so how did I get to my room?!"
Scratching her now messy hair, Liu Rachael had a fixed look in her eyes, as she went through the events of the day before, little by little bits and pieces of the night before began showing up in her mind.
"Oh my god! What have I done?! Chairman Duan bailed me out and even drove me back!"
An horrified look covered the face of Liu Rachael, not only had she jeopardized her livelihood, she even went as far as to involve the owner of the company were she once worked.
"Then how did I get to my room? Was it Mr. Lan that brought me in or?"
As her thought shifted to that of Duan Chengyu, instant denial followed next.
"That can't be, it definitely can't be! There is absolutely no way Chairman Duan would have taken me to my room. It has to have been Mr. Lan."
Sure that are deductions were right, Liu Rachael was about getting out of her bed when she heard the ringtone of her phone.
"Where did I leave my purse? Oh! It's there!"
At first she didn't know where the person that took her to her room dropped her things, until she saw the phone and purse on the nightstand by her bed. Reaching out to pick the former.
"Chairman Duan!"
Liu Rachael could not hold back from shouting the name that appeared on her caller screen. She could feel her heart begin to beat fast from the knowledge.
"Good morning Miss Liu, are we eating in today or dining out? By the way, It's 11 am."
