"Is he going to fire me?!"
Fear took hold of Liu Rachael, not knowing what her future would hold when she returns to the mansion of Duan Chengyu. Sweat formed in her palms, as she anxiously clasped her fingers tightly.
"This is a first time offense, therefore you would not be paying to bail them out. In the event either of them breaks the law, depending on the severity. A fine would be charged and possible extended jail time."
Hearing that she could be imprisoned for a long time, caused a chill to enter the body of Liu Rachael making her burrow deeper into the coat that now became like a warm cocoon.
"Officer Song, I'll see to it that there would be no repeat. Now, can you hand Miss Liu her things so that we can be on our way?!"
From where he stood, the secretary of Duan Chengyu could feel the anger that was emanating from his body.
"Chairman Duan! Please don't do anything that would create a bigger mess!"
It almost felt like a prayer, as the thought seeped into his head.
"Alright, Mr. Duan. I will go and bring their belongings. You can all wait right here for me."
They saw as the police officer rose from his seat and began heading in the direction where the personal possession of detained people were kept.
