"Tell me the combination code on your gate."
The Chairman of Cinopec Group smiled amicably while conversing with his mother. When he heard her ask for the new code on his gate, his mind instantly rejected what she said, in the past he wouldn't have minded if she visited him or asked him the combination to his home, but since his new helper moved in, he didn't feel he had to oblige to his mother's request.
"Not now mom, I promise to give it to you some other time."
Director Duan saw the smile on her son's face, it hadn't shifted a bit, but her instinct as his mother warned her that she was stepping on thin ice with him.
"What is he hiding in his house that he doesn't want me, his mother to know about?!"
Although Director Duan smiled at her son, it never reached her eyes. Not longer after, the two soon stood up to bid each other farewell.
"Take care of yourself mom."
"And you too son."
Duan Chengyu could not shake the feeling that his mother would soon be coming after him in full force.
