In the outer part of Shabu forest, a youngster is busy whipping a tree with a light blue whip. He was wearing a mage robe and after whipping the tree five times the whip disappears from his hand.
Because the huge amount of money he earned Adam had a lot of free time and decided to come to the forest to test the new spell idea he comes up with, Universal Mana Form.
The name might sound strange but his lack of imagination don't let him think of any better name than that.
The spell uses Mana Bullet as the basis and instead of launching the mana ball, he modifies its form to any form he can imagine. Obviously, the bigger or the more complicated the form is, the more mana will be spent.
He comes up with the idea after remembering some novel contents and asked the system if it was possible. To his surprise, some mage already thought of that.
The dude was an anomaly who had a really huge amount of mana but poor elemental affinity. In the mages world, stuff like Mana Shield and Mana Bullet don't become popular even though it grows with the mage power because it always is weaker than elemental spells.
Mana Shield has the special ability of never-ending unless the mana of the caster ends, while elemental shields have something like hp. Then why Mana Shield become useless?
Let's imagine a mage have 1000 mana and uses it to cast an elemental shield. even the lowest level elemental shield will have something like 1100 hp, in other words, can last an attack that you will need 1100 mana with Mana Shield to defend.
And different from Mana Shield, elemental shields will not consume mana per second or force of the attack, once you cast it, it will not consume more mana, also being possible to cast spells at the same time, unlike Mana Shield. And if the mage has an absurd amount of mana even more than the defensive spell he can just use it all in the spell, and it will be more powerful than Mana Shield. The same happens with Mana Bullet.
Because of that, that mage was turned down every time he tried to enter in a magic school. Well they can detect he has a huge amount of mana but unfortunately not the amount, or else they would recruit him while smiling.
Even after that, he did not give up, ending up with the only three spells suited for him, Universal Mana Form, Mana Compression and Mana Shield.
Using Universal Mana Form and his huge mana he ended up with a close combat style even though he was a mage. using mana to form ropes, swords, hammers, armors, even giant boulders to crush enemies.
As for how Mana Compression works let's imagine he formed a 10-meter mana sword and compressed it to a normal size sword. the sword still has the same amount of mana of the giant sword.
In his final battle, he formed a giant mana mecha and two giant swords and compressed to normal human size. According to the system, that person had enough mana to form a Mana Bullet half the size of the moon, you can imagine how powerful his Mana Shield was. Adam don't really hope to become like that, but Universal Mana Form is a really useful spell so he learned it.
He can't make stuff like armour because it won't last seconds and mana swords aren't more powerful than fireballs so he can only use it for things like forming a mana rope to climb a place and etc.
He returned to the city and resumed his potion selling business the next day. To his surprise, he heard a familiar voice shouting to him.
"Trash, how dare you fool me!"
An angry Zhu Zimin along with five lackeys appeared before him.
Hmmm. I might have edited it to become worse
