Bab 9: Who is the mastermind?
Pulkit Chatavredi and Sagar Arora decided they would visit Guti Prasad ramen first before touring the town as it was their favourite spot where they normally have a light meal.
Although everyone took the offerings offered by the priest back at the temple, Prakash did not, he was on a fast. He decided to keep it safe to eat at a later time, when he would be ready to break his fast.
Prakash agreed to follow his buddies to Guti Prasad ramen because they really wanted to have chicken noodles and because it reminded them of their high school days.
Sagar and Pulkit ordered two bowls of chicken noodles each, they asked Prakash, are you not ordering?
Prakash replied, guys no because am fasting today. Laughing, Pulkit said you can't be serious man. Yeah dude, what has come over you? asked Sagar.
As he was about to reply, their order was served so he said instead, guys enjoy your meal, you don't want it getting cold. You right man said Sagar. At that point Pulkit and Sagar dug in and started eating.
At another side of town...
Ring ring...girl pick up said Jasmine, dramatically to the phone. Sonal was in a deep sleep, she woke up to the sound of her ringing cell phone. Sleepily she picked up her phone and without looking at the caller ID, she said hello!
Jasmine replied, girl don't tell me you still in bed? did you just wake up? It's already 12noon.
Sonal yawned and replied, Jasmine your call actually woke me up. Ok Sonal, be ready in an hour's time, let's go shopping, I will come pick you up said Jasmine.
Alright Jasmine said Sonal and she hung up. She laid down on her bed a little before going the bathroom.
She freshened up, got dressed and went downstairs for a quick meal. Her dad her left for the Military base.
Her step mum who she calls mum was already out having tea with her few socialites friends.
Sonal was an only child. Her birth mum had died when she was only 6 years old in a fatal car accident. Her father married her step mum a year after her birth mum passed away.
Her step mum did not have any children for her father, she never wanted to have children of her own because she has a phobia for the pain that comes along with child birth.
Her paternal and maternal relatives lived abroad. Her mum and dad were not around, so it was just her and the maids and butler's left in the house.
After she finished her meal, few minutes later, Jasmine came, she informed the maids she was heading out and went out with Jasmine to go shopping.
At Guti Prasad Ramen....
Sagar and Pulkit had finished their chicken noodles, it was torture for Prakash all the way, but for his beloved, he persevered.
A while ago, when Pulkit and Sagar were having their chicken noodles he was on his phone staring at his screen saver and later on decided to check the local news, some companies stock declined but not Mehra Conglomerates nor Arora company or Chatavredi company.
As they were about leaving Guti Prasad Ramen, Pulkit suddenly got a call, it was from Rishi Gupta, the CIA agent working at the Municipal Bureau, the man he had contacted to look into Prakash spiked drink case.
He picked up his call, spoke with Rishi Gupta a for sometime before hanging up. He looked at his buddies with a long face and said, that was Rishi Gupta, he has found the culprit,
Prakash replied and said, yes go on who is the mastermind? Who was it that spiked my drink? Yeah dude who tried to hurt Prakash at the celebrations? asked Sagar.
Pulkit replied and said it was Avhantica, Avhantica Sahani. I don't think I know her said Prakash. She is one of the girls you had fun with in the past, she wanted your heart aswell said Pulkit.
Prakash replied and said, she needs to be punished. Don't worry buddy she has already been taken care of, she won't be debuting anymore, she has been blacklisted.
Apparently she is an upcoming singer and was supposed to debut in a couple of days from now said Pulkit.
Thanks man, replied Prakash. The three friends left soon after that and heading for their proper adventure around town.
