Then it skipped to the part where Edward Lu secretly informed Lexi on how he recovered his body and showed her Ethan Lu's last will — transferring all his property to Lexi and company shares to the twins if they reached their right age. Until then, Lexi would be the one who would be the acting CEO. 

It then skipped to Lexi, receiving the news of a car crash of Lillian Yang and Frederick Yang, together with the twins, where the four of them, and several of the nannies and the driver died. Not to mention, Edward Lu also died weeks after the twin's death.
