Bab 277: Thoughts

Latifah hung her head down and let the tears flow.

Perhaps it was the wine, making her defences weaker and the tears to flow.

Perhaps it was the fact that she felt abandoned and alone, so she wanted to vent out her grievances.

Maybe it was both, making her truly see the truth of Kyle's words.

She began thinking of all that she had done, and the plans she had made for her children - and this time, she looked at it from their perspective.

If she wasn't so worried and scared about another rebellion, would she have made such plans for them? Plans that, from her thoughts, were done to protect them as well?

She sobbed loudly, sniffed, and did not bother to wipe her tears.

If one was to take away the reason, the ugliness of what she had done seemed so glaring.
