Everly is confined to a wheelchair and can only use a sigh board to talk. It had only been a week and she adjusted quiet well. Although she looks quite heartbroken about not singing, she makes do with practicing music in general.
Rachel is okay with just watching a sometimes-pointing things out. Everly herself would sometimes ask questions. Some in which where hard to answer because she had no idea what's going on.
Paris is nice, Everly's father and stepmother had brought her out of Japan and moved them to Paris. While her brother Eric who has a wife and a daughter of his own stayed in Japan.
Floated around the ceiling, Rachel humped to herself while Everly played the piano. This is the music room in the school Everly was enrolled in by Her father and stepmother.
She is Fourteen years old.
Rachel stopped just floating and went to Everly, she pointed at the door which made Everly look behind her. Their where several children giggle at the crack of the door. Making Everly just stared at them until they ran away.
When She turned around, Rachel was staring out the window. With a smile she floated out the door making Everly curious. Floating toward the grass Rachel laid down on it and getting herself comfortable and falling asleep.
Everly wheeled herself not to far away and looked at her doppelganger. That was peacefully sleeping in the sunlight. Her music notes in her hand and flute, she glanced at her hands and started to play.
For about half an hour she played a soft tune.
When she received an applause, both her and Rachel where startled.
"That was amazing" The young boy with golden hair and green eyes clapped. You could tell he was a young heart break. Everly frowned and then looked to the distance at the sideboard that was visible from the courtyard. This boy was also on that sign bord.
Silently she nodded.
"Could you play some more?" Asked as Rachel sleepy floated over to him, to get a better look. Floating around him to observe his sides and facial expression. For whatever reason, the face annoyed and she started to make childish faces at him.
Everly smiled before she started to play on her flute, at first she did a screech which startled Rachel and drew her attention. Then played a sweet tune, for the young man who looked around her age. Rachel floated above Everly and listened in the air.
Afterword's the young said some pretty pleasant things and walked off.
When they returned home, Everly sat at dinner for her father and stepmother. The two looked very loving, they would talk about random things and included Everly.
They waited patiently for Everly to finish writing her response. Rachel was standing leaning on the door observing with a blank face. She then floated away to Everly's room and fell asleep on the bed.
This was what their days where like for over six months a peaceful and wonderful recovery, with family support.
Rachel was floating beside Everly their where window shopping, looking at clothes and dresses. Which annoyed Rachel she was a ghost and could not change her clothes from anything other then a long white dress.
Everly was assisted by her stepmother when it came to wearing clothes. By the time they got him Everly was pushed into a dark room, only to see the lights on what is a birthday cake in the kitchen.
Everly could not help but smile with reddish checks and eyes. Her father and her younger brother where there, with his family.
She listened to them tell her happy birthday and Everly couldn't help but cry. Holding her draw board over her face out of embarrassment.
