Bab 82: The Power of the Heart
Hermione- Rainy, come with us if you can hear me!
Rainy-...why...danger?...who... is it?
Hermione- the dementors are coming!
Rainy- ...dementors?
Harry- we have to run! They will kill Sirius if we don't move!!
Rainy- ...Sirius?... dementors....grrrr....
Rainy then roared to the dementors that were close enough, and launched herself to fight them.
Hermione- Rainy! No!
Harry- come on! We have to hide and observe! We don't know how to fight those things!
I went closer to Sirius, and we all hided behind some trees, hoping that Rainy would beat them in this frenzy of her.
Hermione- she isn't damaging them!
Ron- and they are doing that thing of feeding of the happiness!
Harry- but she doesn't seem to be affected either right?
Sirius- yeah, I- I think she's pure dark feelings right now. She has extinguished all the light inside her to get this power...
Ixat- no. She has just covered it with a cloak of darkness.
We all turned around to face an unknown person. He had a black coat with a hood covering his face, and was looking only to Rainy. I could feel him frowning slightly.
Ron- are you the guy we found on world 7? why are you here?
Ixat- I just came today to see the result of her training...with her new wand. But I see that she's experimenting a lot...
Hermione- what did you mean that she's covered in a cloak of darkness?
Ixat- she has a decent quantity of darkness inside her heart. Practically all is anger, what she has done now, is use a magic that makes someone lose his mind with rage to get more power. With anger being her darkness, she has been covered with it. But even in the deepest darkness, there is light. Remember that.
Harry- is she in danger?
Ixat- this temporal transformation is tiring, but not really dangerous if she can get a hold of her light again.
Hermione- but another enemy stabbed her in the back with a poisoned knife!
Ixat- what?
Hermione- that's why she used berserk on herself! The ninja said that even esna wouldn't heal that poison!
Ixat- !! t-that's dangerous! You guys have a DAOWA teacher, no? Bring her here now!
Ron- what can Juny do?
Ixat- more than me! I don't know healing spells! And having a phoenix here would help too... but that's asking too much... go get her!
Harry- actually, the headmaster has a phoenix.
Ixat- what!? then bring him too! In the moment she stops using the darkness, with how tiring it is, and depending on how deep is the wound, we will have only some minutes! Now go!
Ron and I begun to run towards the castle, leaving Sirius and Hermione with the guy in a coat. We decided that I would get Dumbledore, hoping that I wouldn't cross with our past selves and Ron would get Juny. Hermione would be where Rainy is, as she's the one that knows Rainy the most.
[Hermione PoV]
I was with Sirius and the guy in a coat looking at Rainy. She was still fighting the dementors punching and kicking even if it had no effect. But we saw that the effect of berserk was wearing off as I could see that her right arm was getting it's color back. Soon after that, she jumped backwards, and landed close to where we were. I saw that she was trying to concentrate the darkness on her back, and I saw her turning towards us.
[Rainy PoV]
I had regained half of my senses when Hermione yelled about stunning Peter, but I was like in a cloud... I was looking at everything like if it wasn't me, like a dream. Soon after that, I rushed against the dementors because Hermione told me that they were enemies, or that they were attacking Sirius... or something like that. I begun to get closer to get my conscience back, and after I think 15 or 20 minutes, I could get a hold of my body. Then I found a problem immediately. The darkness was covering my wound. So I tried to maintain that part of the darkness there, only enough to use a skill I learned from Ixat. I landed close to Hermione, and I saw that Ixat and Sirius were with her. I still had half of my face and my back with darkness, but I was me again,
Rainy- hey! Take care of my body after this, will you?
I summoned Sleeping Lion as a wand, and pointing towards the dementors, I yelled ''Ragnarok!!'' and a huge energy ball appeared on the tip of my wand. Then, with every pulse of the ball, a lot of light beams shoot themselves towards the dementors. After 4 pulses, the 5th one was stronger, and wiped the last dementors of the grounds of Hogwarts.
I really was weak on that moment, so the wand disappeared, and I fell on the ground with the darkness not covering the wound anymore. I was still conscious when they came close to me to check me. I passed out soon after that, just when I saw an old man appear through a ball of fire.
Rainy- ... ugh...(ugh... my head... where am I?)
I looked around, and I saw that I was back in the hospital wing once more.
Rainy- well... it's not surprising...
Dumbledore- what is not surprising?
I looked towards the voice, and I saw that Dumbledore was on a chair beside my bed
Rainy- the fact that I ended in the hospital wing after what happened on the morning. Not sure if it was this morning, or yesterday, or more...
Dumbledore- it was this morning. And I must say that I didn't expect you to wake up so soon. Even being you.
Rainy- what time is it now?
Dumbledore- dinner time.
Then a lot of food appeared on the table beside my bed.
Rainy- ... thanks. What happened with Sirius?
Dumbledore- well, it wasn't easy with Peter dead... but we convinced the Ministry of Magic or to be exact, Fudge, the Minister for Magic, to do a proper trial for Sirius. And we have a lot of possibilities with the discovery of Peter being alive until today. And the fact that he was the Secret Keeper, and not Sirius.
Rainy- will you allow Harry to live with Sirius?
Dumbledore- where does this question come from?
Rainy- it comes from the fact that you said that he needed to be in his uncle's house last summer. So I guessed that he got something out of being with his uncle and aunt.
Dumbledore- *sigh* well, you can't tell Harry, but he gets protection against the dark lord by living with a blood relative. It's not the exact answer... but is the short version. So answering your question, as long as he is at least a month with his aunt, as she is his last blood relative, he will be able to be with Sirius the rest of the summer.
Rainy- I see... poor Harry... I'll destroy the dark lord as soon as possible. He's being a pain in the ass even half dead.
Dumbledore- now, I want to talk with you about what happened with the darkness. I heard you used really dark magic to defeat your opponents?
Rainy- ah! No, no! It wasn't dark magic, director! It was plain darkness...
Dumbledore- explain.
Ixat- I'll explain that. You see, she has another type of energy inside her heart. That energy gets stronger with the light of her heart, which is the good feelings. And with the darkness in her heart, or the bad feelings. One is not better than the other, and a light user can be a bad guy while a dark user can be a good guy. It just means that you draw your power from some feelings. She drew her power from her anger, which is a dark feeling. And that gave her enough strength to defeat her foes, while it also covered the light feelings so that they wouldn't get in the way of the fight.
Dumbledore- I see... and you are?
Ixat- Ixat. Rainy's senior on her training on the power of the heart. My master assigned me to watch over her for a while. And today it was useful.
