Bab 202: Forbidden arts

Bai Yun slowly stood up, walked over to the village well, and drew water. He then went into the village head's house and pulled out a chair. He dragged the chair in front of the two frozen men and sat down. For a moment the three just in silence.

"So, what are your names?" Bai Yun asked.

The two men opened their mouths to speak, but their throats were completely dry. After dry swallowing for a few moments, one of them finally spoke in a hoarse voice. "Mo Jin."

"I see. Are you from the Mo clan?" Bai Yun asked. The two of them nodded.

"So what are you guys doing here," Bai Yun asked.

The two opened their mouths but no words came out. They were too scared to explain to Bai Yun.

"Can't speak. That's okay, I can guess. You must have been left behind for cleanup. To make sure that nobody escaped to tell people. So my question is who left you behind?" Bai Yun asked.
