Bab 48: Chapter48: Getting Along On The Trip
Alice, Clara-san, and I are now in the forest outside Citrine. Clara-san decided to come with us, she said she wanted to see us in action.
[ what is Clara onee-san doing here with us Onii-chan? ] whispered Alice, I'm carrying behind my back.
[ well, Clara-san said she wanted to become an adventurer, and that she also wants to join our party if she can. ]
[ she will join our party onii-chan...? ]

[ ...but if she joins us... does that mean we won't be alone again anymore onii-chan...? ] Alice muttered in a low voice.
I guess I was right that Alice wouldn't like the idea of us hiring a new member. I guess I need to convince Alice about this again.

[ umm... well, their bodies were large and there was three of them so we only took their horns, and also, their horns was the only item the task required, not their meat... ]
[ that was so wasteful! you could've tasted the most delicious dishes in the world! ]

[ the-then how about we try to hunt some again...? ]

[ yes, Alice said we're heading to the previous place we hunted them, so we might get the chance of encountering one again... ]

[ really? ...by the way... what kind of magic do you use Clara-san? ]
Jacked Jack-san told me that there were 6 types of magic. The four and most common are Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind, there's also the rare ones, the Light and Dark magic.
now that I think about it, I wonder what type of magic aptitudes Alice have?
[ hmm... I can use Wind and Water magic, but I'm more used to Wind magic. ]
[ really? ...how does Wind magic is used...? ]

Clara-san raised her right hand, then not a second later, a strong wind was formed on top of her palm then it became a small visible vortex of wind.
[ wow... ] Alice whispered in surprised.
[ now look at this! ]
Then, Clara-san put her left hand on top of the vortex, then she closed both of her hand causing the vortex of wind to disappear, then she opened it again.
Swoosh...!!!
A small flat visible wind came out of her closed hands and it shoots out like a bullet, hitting the tree in front of us.
Bang!!!
The tree was sliced in half causing it to fall down.
[ ...what was that!? ]
[ that was great Clara onee-san! ]
[ pretty great right? that was actually my most dangerous magic and it was from my father. ]
[ Jerald-san can do that!? ]
[ well, dad can do it but it's not as strong as mine... ]
[ oh... that was a relief... it's dangerous for Jerald-san to know such magic... ] I muttered.
[ well, It actually took me years to master it, but now I can also do it with water magic. ]
[ really...? ]
[ well, I can do many things with Water magic but I use Wind magic for hunting so I use it more often. ]
[ oh? I guess magic has many uses, huh? ]
I wonder... only if I can use magic I can use it for many things too... like, for my job as an adventurer, maybe I can also invent some magic from my knowledge of my previous world.
[ yes, how about you... oh... ]
[ I don't have magic right? ]

We then continued walking inside the forest with Alice still on top of my shoulder looking around and Clara-san walking to my side.

[ by the way, are we about to arrive, Alice? ] I asked Alice who's still on top of my shoulder.
[ we're near onii-chan. ] answered Alice.
[ what's your plan Haruto-kun? ] asked Clara-san.
[ we search for the wolves first then we attack. ] I answered.
[ but it might take us long before we find them, onii-chan. ] Said Alice.
[ that's okay, you can stay while I look around. ]
[ is that so...? ]
[ Clara-san will stay with you so it's fine, right? ]
[ I-I guess so... ]
[ just leave it to me Haruto-kun. ]
I know I can trust Clara-san with this.
[ Then it's settled. I'll look around the forest if we can't find any wolves when we get into the Earth Boars territory, okay? ]
