Bab 33: Are you out of your mind?
"Brother Jai, What's wrong? Is there anything important to talk?" Sky got confused.
"You say. What's going on?" He made eye contact with her and continued, "Why Andy Gill drove you here?"
Sky sighed, "Brother! You scared me."
"Sky, Come to the point." He was stern. Jai was very protective of Sky. He regretted letting Sky near Andy.
"I appointed him as my secretary three days back and Dad asked him to drive me here." Sky said in a single breath.
"Are you out of your mind? Didn't you get anybody else?" Jai was furious.
Sky got to know Andy from Jai first. But the latter hated him when Gill's behaved rudely with her and Andy disregarded her in a matter of seconds.
"He asked me to help him, So he working there." Sky was feeling uneasy that if Jai says to fire him, What to do and how to persuade him.
Jai seemed to be calm after her reply. "Do you have to be considerate of him? Mr.Harley, Did he allow you to appoint him or you... You forced your dad?"
"Actually, He was very angry and even called security to send him off." She paused and looked at his expression. Jai didn't react, He knew there was something more.
She looked down and clutched the bed sheets tight, "I blackmailed him that I will resign from the CEO position."
Subconsciously she shut her eyes tight. Jai swung his right-hand back which resulted in the fall of the table lamp.
Sky shivered and opened her eyes to look at Jai. He was furious and was breathing fast and deep to control his anger.
"Bro... Brother." Sky stammered in fear. Jai moved towards the door.
Sky ran behind and held his hand. "Brother Jai! listen to me."
"Shoot!"
"He is just my secretary now. I helped him because he took care of me for many years. I am just repaying him."
She took a deep breath, "He is no more than a secretary. I will not let him influence me again." She sounded determined.
Jai relaxed, he turned towards her and held her shoulders, "Sky, You know what's good for you and what is not good for you. You shouldn't waste any more years on him. okay?"
She nodded her head many times to assure. She had tears in her eyes threatening to fall anytime.
A gentle glint flashed across Jai's eyes, he pulled her to hug, "Frightened?"
Sky nodded in his embrace, soaking his shirt with her tears.
Jai caressed her head slowly. "I'm sorry, I will be careful."
Sky hugged him tight and sobbed. Jai waited patiently for her to calm down.
Once she regained her composure, she left him and saw that Jai's shirt was a mess.
