I and the other maids stayed in line below the stairs. There were yelling from upstairs but we couldn't meddle in or dare to walk away unless we were told. Rhio expected our presence at the moment.

"Let's talk!" We heard Jasmin's voice before the double doors closed.

Rhio stood for a minute in front of the door, holding the latch as he listened to Jasmin's faint sobs. He breathed heavily before securing the locks tight.

"Buy whatever she needs," he ordered when he descended to meet us.

"Why--"

"Because she'll be living in this mansion."

"Master Rhio…that's--" 

 "Don't ever take her out of that room," he cut my words venomously.

I felt afraid for him. He's went across the line and I was worried he'd suffer the consequences for it.
