Bab 1033: YUNYUE VS SANGUIS (VII)

XU RU planned to stab the dagger straight at Noctis' heart. It's the fastest way to eliminate the other in just one blow. But just as the dagger was about to pierce Noctis' back, the other moved at the last second. Instead of the heart, the dagger only pressed on Noctis' shoulder blade.

The stab he felt wasn't too deep that his game avatar would gush out blood like a fountain. No, it was more likely that it was Noctis' blood. But why? He didn't have time to ponder over that because of what Noctis said next.

"Thank you for not betraying my expectation."

Then the other suddenly turned around and more blood splashed on Xu Ru.
