Bab 159: Should I Be Happy?

Marcel could vaguely hear Adrian call him as he tried to pull himself out of that memory of how he had died. He had never taken the whole event as seriously as he should have and that moment of weightlessness when Adrian carried him reminded him of how he went airborne before rolling down that long flight of stairs.

"Marcel! Marcel!" Adrian called, suddenly feeling panicked. He just wanted to tease Marcel a bit since he had carried him numerous times before and he wanted to reciprocate to see his reaction.

He had imagined that Marcel would laugh it off, or indulge him. The worst-case scenario in his books was Marcel getting angry and storming off.

He had never thought he would suddenly have a panic attack! What the hell happened to him for him to react so strongly to being carried? Adrian even started thinking that it must have been something he had experienced at school or at the orphanage.
