Bab 19: does he still loves her?

By the time Ru Shi climbed the stairs to her apartment, her cheeks were wet with tears, and she doesn't know if she can wait for him.

She fumbles for her keys to open the door. She remembers the last time she came here it was because they had a fight. Then he came to seduce her again.

The sound of a phone ringing broke through her thoughts.

Ru Shi looked at the caller ID and picked it up

"Ru Shi where are you?"

Shen Ruyi's worried voice can be heard on the phone.

Ru Shi cleared her throat as she answered.

"I came home because I wasn't feeling well".

Shen Ruyi frowned her eyebrows when she heard her wobbly voice.

"Wait are you about to cry or you were crying?"

Ru Shi sighed she knows Shen Ruyi can hear the little change in her voice.

"Yes I was watching a movie and it's pretty sad."

Ru Shi lied as she didn't want to worry her friend.

"But didn't you just get home? When did you get time to watch a movie."

Shen Ruyi asked doubtfully.
