Bab 47: Invading the Vatican 2
Uh huh, my vision became clear again. I saw both Serafall Leviathan and Reya Kusaka ahead of me, Sesa Purusa. I have no idea where we've come to but we're here nonetheless. The place where we arrived at is a large hallway of some sort. It was big and resembled a room that a rich person would own.
DETECT!!!
A strong sense of danger came over me. I didn't need the Mask of Deception to tell me that. All the danger was spread out in front of my eyes.
We three are not the only ones in the room that we appeared in, there are many individuals present.
I wasn't expecting this as a welcome party.
I hear the voice of an elderly man, "Hahaha, lay out the bait and fish will bite."
In front of Reya is an elderly man dressed as an exorcist, he seems to be the leader of this gang here. The accompanying exorcists drew out their guns and swords. I'm pretty calm and Serafall is amused as well but...
"How can this be," said Reya. She started to tremble.
"REYAA, TAKE YOUR FRI-"
"There's no need for you to speak Mr Sorcerer, colluding with evil is a crime punishable by death." The elderly exorcist said after bashing a gun against a man, a man was tied to a chair and his condition didn't look too good.
Reya Kusaka shrieked, "Uncle Jordan!"
Jordan, uncle? They look nothing alike from my view point. Still, there is a significant relationship between the two, otherwise, how else would a girl like Reya act.
"Reya, WAIT!"
Bang!
Reya wanted to step forward but an exorcist fired a shot at her. Luckily I was prepared.
Necroussary Abyss!
The blue coffin box came into existence, just in time to block the on coming bullet. If I delayed any further, Reya would be dead. I follow up by casting a barrier.
"Shoot to kill!!" Screamed the elderly exorcist.
Bang bang bang...
Fires where shot, I'm glad I pulled out a shield barrier. I was about cast another but Satan acted first. She erected a wall of ice to receive the impacts.
"I'll take it from here," she said
Our cosplay magical girl stepped forward, spinning her staff and shaking her butt. Serafall jumped into an adorable pose.
S.Sesa complained, (How can someone so scary be so childish.)
(I don't know, aren't all the Satans weird?)
I see Leviathan execute her specialty in ice magic. What was the name of this power? I couldn't remember. There was only one time in which she displayed it, wasn't it?
Immediately the temperature all around us started to sink like water flowing into a drain. Everyone was startled, this included myself.
DETECT!!!
"ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL US!!" I yelled.
This was too powerful of a spell. A spell like this has no ability to acknowledge friend from foe. Both Reya and I are in danger, even the Jordan guy will lose his life and not by his perpetrators.
Bang bang bang...
Shots were fired, aiming to take down Satan. I'm pretty sure that ain't going to work. The place starts freezing over and the enemy exorcists are backing away. The elderly leader also stepped back to escape, but would they be fast enough?
There was no time for me to contemplate all that. I have worry about my own sorry ass as well as these others.
After witnessing what happened to Mittelt, Reya is frightened like anything. I shudder at thought of turning into a popsicle too.
What do I do, what do I do?
I head to Reya swiftly, wrapping an arm around her slim waist. Then I remotely will the blue coffin to fly to the Jordan guy.
Unsealing the world of darkness, the coffin hovers above the man tied to the chair. With the opening facing down, I lower Necroussary Abyss. Once the man is partially in the gateway to darkness, I use my godly will to suck the man inside.
I quickly pull back the coffin box. I'm planning to jump inside the black existence along with Reya Kusaka.
SHUA!!!
Necrouassry Abyss flies as fast as I'm able to think clearly. Only a few seconds passes before we are inside the place but it isn't enough.
The strength of the ice magic is even affecting the structure of my Satan arms, Necroussary Abyss. My connection with it is nothing to look down upon, I feel the pressure that the blue coffin is facing.
I want to make the box disappear like I usually do but I can't while I'm inside it. If it was just any others, it would be no problem to throw anyone else inside and completely forget about them.
Ddraig said suddenly, (Don't you have a law bending spell from the Green haired one. Can't you adjust the nature of the current damage?)
"Good idea!"
The Red Dragon of Domination has great wisdom. I stick a hand out of the coffin and cast 'Kankara Formula'. I boost the power to absorb and convert the surrounding potencies into demonic power.
It's was usually a slow process to convert potential energy into demonic power from absorbing materials externally, that was the reason why the ice spell was overwhelming Necroussary Abyss but now I flipped the tide. I feel the demonic power in this dark dimension increase although the effects don't seem to be much. But I still have to struggle on because I still have to control the spell, 'Kankara Formula'.
I'm relieved! At least I've averted the further damage to the Satan arms. I can't see all that clear outside so I can't tell what's going on. I can only feel the Necroussary Abyss' reaction to the powerful magic.
Waiting several moments eventually the blue box stopped absorbing any power. From this, I can tell that Serafall Leviathan is done.
I'm so upset now, we just arrived and I'm so tired. Sticking my head out the gateway to darkness, I see all that is going on. I'm greeted by a frozen wonderland.
(Ddraig did good this times. Good boy!) S.Sesa complemented.
Ddraig snapped back, (Don't take me for a pet. You're still a brat if we compare ages.)
By now, I stepped back into this world. I dared not leave Reya or Jordan inside either.
"Is it over?" Reya asked, shivering. She was wearing a greenish sundress, basically the witched was dressed for summer.
"Yeah it's over. Hey, go help that guy there." I pointed out Jordan who was still tied to the chair.
"Uncle Jordan," she exclaimed, Rey had seemed to have forgotten the man in the sudden rush. Heading to him, she went quickly even though she was staggering with each step because of the cold.
I'm feeling the effects of the low temperature but more than that I'm upset about almost losing my life.
"Hey, Ses-chan! You guys okay?"
"DO WE LOOK OKAY!" I screamed at Serafall. How could I not? So what if she's a Satan class devil. I survived a her magic ice age.
"Oops!" Serafall winked and stuck her tongue out. She followed by knocking the side of her head with the under of her fist.
I swear, she's the total opposite from Sona. Sona thinks before acting but Serafall acts before thinking.
"Here, I'll warm things up." She said, casting a spell of the fire element. It appeared to be basic fire magic, unfortunately it was hotter than it supposed to be and bigger too.
I was the closest to Satan if we compare location thus I received the heat wave head on.
First I experienced extreme cold, now I'm faced with extreme heat almost immediately. If I don't fall ill that would be a miracle.
"Are you trying to make me sick?"
