Bab 87: Trust
Lilac's POV
I was such an embarrassment. How could I start crying in front of Yoon Gi just because of a small matter? He must see me as a childish person. How I hope I could dig a hole for myself to hide in it.
"Lilac don't be upset anymore. Everything is my fault ok. Please forgive me." Yoon Gi said.
"It's not your fault Yoon Gi ah. I'm fine now." I said while giving him a smile.
"Next time when you're feeling down, tell your problem to me. Maybe at times I would not be able to understand how it felt like but I will always be by your side to listen to your problems. Just tell me about it." Yoon Gi said.
Haihh these words that he said really makes my heart flutters. Who could imagine a guy like him would say these kinds of words? My stoned locked heart really had been unlocked by him. It been really long since I've gotten this kind of feeling.
"Thank you so much Yoon Gi ah." I said.
"You don't need to say thank you. For you I would do anything just to make you happy." Yoon Gi said.
"Hmmm." I said.
Yoon Gi's POV
It seems like Lilac doesn't believe my words. I know that we have just started dating but little did she know that I've been liking her for so many years already. I don't know that she just didn't realize it or she wanted the relationship to move at a steady speed. I don't want to force her to believe me straightaway. I just want her to know that whenever she needs someone, she can always find me. I really hope that one day I could earn her trust so that she would tell me the shadows that have been pulling her down. I really don't like seeing her putting up a wall and hiding her feelings for me.
Upon reaching her house, I felt like I haven't spend enough time with her but I could see how tired she is so after contemplating with myself I decide to let her go home. She even let her guard down and fell asleep so peacefully. I don't have the heart to wake her up so I lower down the car seat for her to sleep so that she would not wake up to neck pain. I also lower down my car seat to stare at her face. Without me knowing, I fell asleep as well. I could feel someone shaking me lightly. When I wake up, I saw a fully awake Lilac.
"Why didn't you wake me up Yoon Gi?" she asked.
"Well I see that you were sleeping so peacefully so I don't have the heart to wake you up. I couldn't bear to you know." I said.
"I should go now. Drive home safely." She said and pecked my lips. Then she dash out from the car.
It took me sometime to realize what just happened. Little did I know that a smile was formed on my lips because of her cute action.
