Bab 43: For her
The next day,
Jung Kook's POV
I woke up early so that I could go to the library and spend more time with Lilac. Looking around in the dorm, the rest of the hyungs haven't wake up yet so I decided to make breakfast for them. I look around in the kitchen to see what I could make for the hyungs until I found flour to make pancakes. Since J-Hope hyung and I had tried before making pancakes in Chicago so I think it would be fine for me to make it on my own. I pour the flour into the bowl and mix it with the eggs and a little bit of sugar. When the bater is done, I heat up the pan and wait for the pan to heat up. When the pan is heated, I took a ladle to pour the mixture into the pan and let it cook. After some time, I flipped the pancake over to let the other side cook as well.
I think this time the bater would be finish because the last round J-Hope hyung and I wasted the bater thinking that the members can't finish it. After making around 10 pieces of pancakes, I realized that the batter could still have a big sized pancake so I decided to give it a try. I hope that it would be perfect. Luckily it turns out great. I separated the big pancake with the rest of the pancakes as I decided to make this one for Lilac. So I took a butter knife and cut the pancake into half. Then I pour some honey on each half of the pancake and some fruits. When it's done, I placed the pancake into a lunch box. As I finish making the pancake for Lilac, I sat down and ate my breakfast. I closed the pancakes with a cover and left a note for my hyungs and left the house. Before leaving, I took a bottle of banana milk for Lilac as well.
Upon reaching the university gate, I felt excited to see Lilac's reaction seeing the food I've prepared for her. I walk towards the library with a lot of eyes staring at me wondering what make my mood so good. When I enter the library, I walk to the place where I've found Lilac yesterday and try to find her but she's not there. Seeing that she's not there, my mood dampened. As I was leaving the library, Lilac walked into the library.
"Lilac, good morning." I said.
"Oh morning Jung Kook." Lilac replied.
"I've made some food for you. If you haven't had your breakfast yet, you can have this but if you have you can eat it during break later." I said.
"Oh, thank you Jung Kook. I don't really eat breakfast because I get stomach ache if I eat too early so I'll eat it during the break later. Why are you here so early by the way? Don't tell me it's just to pass me this food?" Lilac asked.
"Yeah." I replied.
Feeling shy I could feel my face heat up upon answering Lilac's question. I never thought that she would ask.
"Umm I'll be leaving for class first. See you during break time if it's possible." Lilac said.
"Ok. Bye bye." I said.
