Bab 8: The war preparation
Arya Meeting Hall---
Abhrook said,"The screams of Veer Ulluka are ringing in my ears. He kept on screaming Aryavarta Aryavarta Aryavarta. Because of his death the fire of revenge is burning in the heart of every Arya soldier. Purohit Agnimitra and my assembly brothers, that time has come where we will raise our sword, defeat the Dravids and will fulfill our ambition of establishment of Aryavarta". Everyone agreed to his statement. Purohit Agnimitra said,"If all agrees then why is it a moment's eccentricity? Maybe it's also the wish of God of Thunders. The fire of revenge in all of yours heart in its sense the sign of the God of Fire. Start the preparation of war".
Dravid Kingdom----
Throne room----
Thangam was beating an Arya who she caught in half a way. Then pulling his head ruthlessly he said,"This jailbird is a sheep from the group of Arya who was wandering in the way and by mistake came here to graze. Yesterday night, from among the group of Arya sheep, a small secret group entered into our kingdom but couldn't able to escape from me". The Arya laughed and said,"And didn't able to keep with you for a long time too. We escaped". Thangam said, "Don't you remember how I peeled of your leader's skin? If you will talk more I will knock you in face".
Anvamundan said," Wait Thangam! Don't beat anymore ". Thangam said," Apologies Singhashanpati! But his partner, who ran away, have caused damage to our holy statue of Mahishiamman. Broke it up. Made it unholy. Due to their thoughts only, the Dravids killed two Aryans in the road only". Anvamundan said, "It is good that he is alive". One of the minister said,"He should be given a death penalty as soon as possible. He should be pushed into a pool of boiling water".
He then continued,"The journey to the death is sure for a captive but he is the only way by which we can know about the enemies. Isn't it necessary"? Dayalini said," The Aryans have already made their troop in the Saptasindhu valley. Yesterday, only a few spies came in but what if their whole military group will come into our Dravid kingdom tomorrow tomorrow".
Anvamundan looked towards Hahuma and then said,"It is known that the people have travelled from so long just to attack us and to demolish our kingdom. Today, in this assembly I request my ministry to start the preparation for war. Do the announcement of war in the whole kingdom ".
Arya camp----
Meeting Hall-----
Abhrook said," We will start the battle tomorrow only". Everyone nodded. Purohit said,"But first lay down the strategy ". Varundev said,"Purohit Agnimitra before laying down the strategy there is something we should keep in mind". Purohit asked," What is it Varundev "? Varundev with a stick first located Dravid kingdom and Arya camp and said,"Before entering to Dravid kingdom we have to cross a forest of dense shrubs". " I understood what he wants to tell", interjected Abhrook. He then said,"He wants to tell that maybe our enemies can attack us hiding in the shrubs".
One of the member asked, "Will they dare to cross the river to attack us"? Another member added," How can they know that we are going to attack on them tomorrow only". Varundev said, "Veer Aryans, the way we are angry with them for taking the life of Veer Ulluka, they must have been angry with us for quietly entering into their kingdom. We want to capture their land and they will surely want to protect it". Purohit agreed to it. One of the member said,"Purohit Agnimitra, so we will prepare our strategy right way". Purohit said, "Let's start the war. Let's establish Aryavarta successful".
Dravid Kingdom----
Throne room----
Anvamundan was saying," I am taking the oath of Rani Chamundi. The oath of the throne. I will not allow anyone to damage Dravid pride but the Commander should know that the war is not common. The enemies are not normal. They have left everything they have behind just to get what we have. When someone comes out of his house this far, then he don't work just to return back to his house but he works to bring his family over the place he is working. They have nothing to lose but we have everything to save. Just one truth is beneficial to us that Aryans are not accustomed to the Dravid border area but we are acquainted to our forest, mountains and rivers. If we will keep this in mind, then we will win the battle for sure".
In the room of Hahuma---
Devsena asked, "What happened Appa, Hahuma? Why all of you are looking so worried"? Dayalini said,"On the border of our kingdom, the Aryans have already been gathered to attack us and in today's assembly, the announcement of battle is already done". Devsena said," Very well done Appa. We should defeat those Aryans and----" "Devsena", interjected Hahuma. She continued,"Why are you here"? She replied," Hahuma, I saw a dream that... I want to take part in this battle Hahuma". Dayalini said, "This is not a competition that you want to take part". Hahuma said," You have vowed not to use the weapons ". She replied," But this is the war Hahuma. I am the Dravid princess. I have to..." "Devsena", interjected Hahuma. She continued," Don't be neglected towards the vow you have taken. This is what Mahishiamman wants to test". Devsena said, "Until today I have been with Appa during every single war. Supporting him from back when I was young and protection him from front when I grew up. I am his lady luck. He has never been defeated in any war".
Hahuma said," So, you want to tell that your father have never won a war with his courage and skills"? Devsena said,"No Hahuma, I don't mean to say this. I can't even think about it. Appa also knows this". Hahuma continued, "Devsena it is not possible what you have wished for. I will never give you permission for this". Devsena said," Please don't do this Hahuma". Anvamundan cupped her face and said,"Devsena by breaking this vow you will be harming the future of the Dravid kingdom. Now your duty is to complete this vow successfully". Hahuma added, "And about your worry regarding your father, go to the temple of Mahishiamman and pray for his safe come back".
Arya camp----
Abhrook said," Those Dravids are nothing compared to us. They are just the preservers of a civilization. But also the synonymous of cruelty. It would be foolish of us to expect any kind of manners or rules from them during the war". Varundev asked, "So what do you want to say"? Abhrook continued,"The way diamond is used to crave a diamond. Like that we have also to be like them for fighting with them". Varundev teased," So we Aryans should transform into Dravids "? Abhrook scolded," I am not joking Varundev! They don't do a front to front fight rather they stabs in the back. They neither use their courage nor skills during a fight rather use treachery during the fight ".
Varundev said," I know that Arya. They behave like animals with their enemies, like they did to father". Abhrook said, "If we keep on restoring the tradition while fighting then we will die before even lifting the sword". Varundev asked," So we should leave our traditions, values everything just for the fighting"? Without any hesitation Abhrook replied, "Yes". Varundev shake his head and said," No Arya Veer. Our Arya faith is our custom. Our law. It provide us the position of the purest religion of the world. We can't let it go just for those Dravids. If we will leave them only then how can we called as Arya".
Dravid Kingdom----
Devsena was eating in her room. Food was served in front of her. She was about to eat an apple, his father came and said, "Sometimes an enemy can kill you without even using weapons". He took the fruit away and kept in the plate. Devsena confusingly asked," But you are not my enemy "? He laughed and said, " It is not written on the enemy's face that he is a enemy ". She was again about to eat that apple, he asked,"Can you eat it without even viewing or verifying"? She replied,"It's just the food. I always eat these". He said,"And it is natural for you. Isn't it"?
He then cut the apple into two halves and revealed a little black layer. She asked," What is this"? He said,"Maybe poison ". Putting the apple again in the plate he continued,"Who has the heritage of power and authority, he have to be cautious in the natural life too". She asked,"What are you telling this all of a sudden and why"? He said," What to do? As you know I am both your Appa and Amma. If I will not give you this knowledge then who will? I know you have the capability of fighting with the enemy whom you can see but how can you fight with the one who just appears to be friendly? Life is cruel. Just like how god is omnipresent, evilness is universal. The throne where you are going to sit is filled with treasury.
"The Aryans who are going to invade from the other side of the Saptasindhu are assailants but some people are here around you who are wearing a mask of being your well wisher are destructive. A big tree is not destroyed by the rainstorm but by the germs growing inside it. You should estimate the actions of everyone and analyze it properly. Just remember that the only person you can trust, the only person you can listen to is Hahuma. Only Hahuma can think of your good luck, no one else".
Next Morning----
Anvamundan was saying to his soldiers," By luck we have taken birth in a land where mother is treated the best. The land where the service to women is equal to virtue. Everything I got in my life is all because of the graciousness of Mahishiamman, Hahuma and my wife, Maharani Chamundi. It's the fruit of my good deeds that I got a daughter. This battle is not just a fight but it's a great opportunity to make your mothers, sisters and wives proud. We are Dravids. We only know how to defeat our enemies. In Dravid Kingdom clemency and begging have one position and one punishment too. The death sentence. So no matter what you can neither be light on the enemies nor can receive their benevolence".
Arya camp----
Varundev was saying, "All of my Arya Veer, today we are going to land on the battlefield. Our only aim is to win. Because what happens in your realm becomes reality. We got the dream of Aryavarta from our ancestors during infantry. Do we also want to transfer this dream to our next generation? If no then promise that we will provide our next generation with the reality of Aryavarta. Let's start this".
